personality: Embry is the shy and quiet one among the Reservation boys. Despite of being playful, Embry's still more reserved. Unlike the others in the pack, he is caring, loving and patient. Loyalty's one of Embry's best trait as well, though he won't allow that loyalty compromise a friendship and what he believes in.

He doesn't judge people easily and is definitely not a fan of fight, unless needed. However, he loves to bet with the fights of others. He has been secretive the night he phased, very much aware that he cannot tell such secret not even to his own mother.

detailed history: Embry's mother is from Makah Tribe. She moved to La Push even before Embry was born. He has never known who he his father was although people from the tribe hoped it to be Sam's father, who had a bad record before, than for it to be Quil Sr. or Billy Black, that would cause more complications in the tribe. Since his mother wasn't originally from La Push and yet time came Embry phased into a wolf, it is where the problem arises about the identity of Embry's father since the transformation only runs in the blood.

Embry, Quil and Jacob become the best of friends in La Push. But when Embry finally transformed, he started avoiding Jacob knowing it is one secret he cannot tell to anyone. It wasn't long enough when Jacob transformed so him and Jacob became friends again. Another person that he needs to be secretive of is his own mother. Embry's night flight was suspicious fro her but no matter how loud she yells at him he still remains silent about it.

Embry continued his loyalty to the pack until Bella arrives and Jacob develops an unexplainable infatuation or admiration towards her. There was no problem with that at first but when Bella started a relationship with the vampire Edward, things became complicated. The pack has been divided and Embry's one of those who're caught in the middle.

He needs to choose whether to go with their leader Sam or with his best bud Jacob. Embry has no problem with Bella being with the vampire, she just needs to bear with him calling her vampire girl. He knows that the Cullens mean no harm but as a protector he has a job to do. But he decided to be with his best bud along with Seth.

Currenly, Embry remains a protector under Jacob's pack and still gets to be in good terms with the other pack members.

It has been a long day for Embry. A lot of things to do and issues to deal with. First was his school homework. He hated doing such. He thought, what's an assignment got to do with him being a protector. It was completely irrelevant. But since he doesn't get to be a wolf all the time, as a human, a high school student and a son, he needs to face his homework and to finish them off as quickly as possible.

Another issue that has been talk of the town, well in La Push, at least, was his mate. Everyone doesn't find it hard to have their mates. But for whatever reason it is, it has been hard for Embry, so far. He was in deep concentration, mulling things over when the gang came over and crush all the silence. They were laughing when they arrived so it's either Paul got into another petty battle or they were once again discussing the issue of his imprinting.

Paul seems excited and full of energy which led him the conclusion of being the subject of conversation. "I need to finish my homework so I'll just catch up with you guys." She blurted even before any of them could say anything. The gang laughed on what he said. His cheeks turned red with embarrassment but fighting them just to defend himself was completely pointless so he just laughed along and said, "I'll find my mate, give me a week."
