Another day at this shitty cafe, Lily thought to herself. She had been here for over a year now and still didn't enjoy it. Who could enjoy working as a under paid waitress in the heart of chaotic Seattle. She had started only because she needed money to move out, but after a year she still has yet to raise enough to live on her own. Instead she is forced to live with her overbearing mother and uncle. She loved them dearly, but she was an adult now. Tierd of all the lecturing and constant pestering about getting a good job, going to school, finding a boyfriend. Maybe she didn't want all of that...well except for the good paying job of course. Lily wasn't the social type, she wasn't the one who would stick out like a sore thumb...no she liked to stay hidden. That didn't mean she didn't have friends though, she just didn't go out with them much. But maybe she should, maybe her mother was right. Lily needed to get out and live her life..that was the whole reason she wanted to move out in the first place. But she was scared, scared that the beast inside her will take over. She knew that wasn't a good enough excuse, but as of right now it was to her. Even with the slightest bit of excitement she could lose control and transform. With her uncle currently being out of town for the last few months she has been on edge about everything. He was her rock, her teacher...the one who understood what she was going through the most. Ever since her father died, he was the only one left to protect and guide her. Her mother was not a werewolf, like her father so she had no clue what she was going through. But it had seemed that her mother had come to accept it more than Lily could.
Her mind was elsewhere as she made her way through the cafe. Her feet were killing her. She had ten minutes left during her shift and she couldn't wait to get back in her bed. It was hard to keep her eyes open and her legs were starting to give out. With a pot of hot coffee in her hand she slowly made her way towards a table in the back corner. Pouring the coffee into the customers cup, she didn't even bother to notice who was sitting there, or that the coffee cup was over flowing. The sound of someone being burnt woke Lily up from her own reality and brought her back into everyone else's. Her eyes grew wide as she gasped, finally realizing what she had done. "Oh my god...I am so sorry. I wasn't paying attention. Are you okay?" she said worried as she pulled out napkins from the canister with force.
Srry if its kinda sucky..I havn't rped her in a while XD

Jackson or Jax as he liked to be called didn't like going into Seattle but he needed a new mower. They didn't have the kind he wanted in LaPush or Forks so he had to go to Seattle. Once he had the mower loaded up in his truck he decided to stop for a bite to eat. He was half starved by the time lunchtime rolled around so he stopped at a little café that looked like it didn't have prices that were that high.
He ordered just about everything on the menu that had any kind of meat involved and chowed it down. His waitress thought it was pretty funny and even went so far as to ask where he was putting it all. He didn't make eye contact as usual, maybe she thought it was odd. It was hard not to make eye contact since people were always trying to see the odd color of his eyes. When she asked him if there were any more like him at home, he snorted a laugh. “I live on the Quileute reservation, they are all like me.” He said quietly. He was happy when she told him her shift was over but another waitress would take care of him. Now he could eat in peace.
The place was quiet with just the one waitress but she didn't bother him. She would get a good tip for that. He noticed it was getting close to closing time, he had spent way to long in the place but he wanted to fill his stomach for once, not that he wouldn’t be hungry again in an hour. He decided to finish his coffee and leave. He was looking at the newspaper someone left when he felt someone’s presence. He wanted to finish his paragraph when he felt warm liquid pour all over his hand. He jerked his hand away and started grabbing napkins as well, “It’s ok, I have it.” He said and started mopping up the coffee. He had a strong feeling to not look her in the eye. It would be a bad idea. He looked at the mess on the table, concentrating on not looking at her. “Really, no harm done, I got it.” She was making him nervous. He vowed that next time he came to Seattle, he would bring his own lunch and eat it in his truck. That way he could be sure he didn't have to avoid eye contact with anyone. And he wouldn’t have the feeling like he did now. He felt compelled to look at the girl and he was struggling not to.

She did it again. Made herself look like a dumb ass. Her clumsy nature was always her weakness, she was thankful she hadn't already lost her job because of it. Her clumsiness was also another reason why she was so withdrawn from others. Lily didn't like to embarrass herself, it only made her more self conscious. She was already having trouble controlling her wolf...she couldn't handle people too. “It’s ok, I have it.” Even at that, his words didn't help. She continued to pull napkins out of the canister and started to wipe the counter off. She noticed he didn't even look up at her as he spoke. She figured he was shy, but she atleast had the curtsey to give some eye contact. But that didn't matter to her, he was a customer and she was just his waitress. Her opinions did not matter. But one other thing she did notice was the scent he was giving off. She could smell the strong aroma of cooked meat on his breath. Her mouth started to water as the beast inside her started to pace back and forth, licking its lips as it was teased by the smell. She tried to calm it down, but was becoming extremely hard lately to get her to do anything she wanted. “Really, no harm done, I got it.” With a sign she set the napkins down and wiped her hands on her uniform. Sweat beads started to drip down her face as she started to grow nervous. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she couldn't figure out why. It was one of either two things, 1) the meat that the man ordered was what was making her wolf stirr inside her or 2) he was not what he appeared to be. She wasn't stupid, she could recognize the smell of another wolf nearby but she was too tierd to notice it until now. There was nothing to worry about though, even though her wolf was hesitant around others, she knew he was of no threat to her. She just felt bad for him after burning his hand, whether it hurt him or not. "Again...I'm really sorry. Can I get you anything else? Please....anything at all?" she said in a rushed tone. When she was nervous she talked fast, not realizing it she would go on and on about nothing. But not here..no instead she bit her tongue and waited for his answer.
