Pain. "Never again." He groaned angrily trying to move. Yeah, that wasn't going to work. He would just lay there on the ground until someone would come along..Until then he ran through what happened in his mind...
Newt tried concurring his fear of heights. He passed a rock climbing class years ago with flying colors, but he often used a fearless 'mask' before class started...Would he admit that to anyone? Nope! He had started off just fine and dandy, but he decided to start jumping from tree to tree. Without realizing it he started going to fast, lost his grip, and causing him to fall down. He grabbed a branch with one hand knowing he wouldn't be able to pull himself up. But he tried. He failed to look at where he was heading in the meantime...Straight into a huge branch. On his way down the tree, he hit his head on one branch and his ribs on the next When he landed he thought it was over, however he landed on a bunch of broken glass. Most of it went into his back and the some into his left arm. Curses flew left and right after he awoke from blacking out.
Pain wasn't the right word for it to be honest? Wasn't there a stronger word?!? Newt gave up on waiting for someone after an hour passed. He sat up cursing some more. "How am I going to get up?"

Blood. It mixed with the air particles and filled her nose, sending her into a trance. Taking a deep breath she stood for a moment with her eyes closed and her nose stuck up in the air as if she was a canine sniffing for impending danger. In fact she was, so it wasn't a surprise to her when she slightly grew excited as the sweet aroma consumed her. The wolf inside her was howling and growling, clawing at her to follow the scent. Lily was not a vicious person, she couldn't even hurt a fly. Even if he was trapped in her room and bugging the hell out of her she would just merely open the window and let it find its own way out. Being the way she was if was hard for even Lily to believe that at the sight and smell of blood, she left her good girl image and turned into the wild snow white beast that rest inside her. And once the animal side of her was set free, there was no telling what it would do.
She reluctantly moved her legs forward and started to follow the scent. Her speed at first was slow and steady, still cautious as to what she might be heading for but as the blood grew stronger she broke out into a run. The wind picked up just as she gained some speed and now she was running faster than ever before. Her beast was just as curious as she was, but Lily instead wanted to help it while her other half wanted to play with eat and eventually eat it. But the moment her eyes fell on the source of the strong smell she came to a sudden halt. Her heart was pounding in her chest from her random breathing patterns while she ran. She panted for air but quickly regained her breath and started heading towards the figure on the ground. There was blood all over his clothes and on the leaves underneath him. Shards of glass were sticking out of his arm and a large gash was clear across his forehead. He looked to be in immense pain as she tried to sit up and stand with little to no success. Rushing over to him she knelt down to his eye level, her face filled with concern. "Oh my god, what happened? Are you alright?" she said in a rushed but soft tone. She was in school to be a nurse, and although she still had a few years to go she thought she was knew enough to handle certain situations. This being one of them...but only to an extent. If he had a concussion or pierced a a main blood vessel, he would have to take a visit to the hospital. "Can you hear me fine? How many fingers am I holding up?" the nurse Lily took over as she held up three of her fingers in front of his face.

Newt just laid there angry...It wasn't the pain he was mad about but the fact he didn't have a cell phone on him that he forgot it at home He didn't know exactly what to do but lay there hoping someone would come along. He was pretty sure it took two or three days missing to call a search but he could loose a lot of blood by then or get an infection. "Oh my god, what happened? Are you alright?" The voice almost startled him, seeing as he didn't hear the footsteps. He looked at the figure trying to focus his eyes....the only thing he could tell was that the person was a girl. He sighed. At least he could get some help now.
"Can you hear me fine? How many fingers am I holding up?" Newt watched as she lifted her arm."Uh...." He started. There were six fingers! That's not possible unless she has a birth defect, but then again everything was blurry. "Six." He muttered feeling like an idiot. "I hear you fine...I can't see you all that well." Newt was starting to hate this! A girl coming to his rescue? It was supposed to be the other way around...He sighed again, ignoring the pain the best he could...that wasn't working out as well as planned though. Pain was written across his forehead. "I was...climbing trees....I feel...His my head on a branch and then glass down here...I'm pretty sure I hit my ribs too.." He wasn't about to tell her he had a fear of heights and was trying to overcome it. He already felt like an idiot so why build on it? Besides, for what Newt can see of the girl she was cute and he didn't want anything else ruining anything..."May be a little cleshay but I'm Newt." He smiled at her.

The large cut on his forehead was the first thing she was worried about. It was easy to pull out the shards of glass and put some alcohol on the wounds to keep them from getting infected. The thing she was most concerned for was to make sure he didn't have internal bleeding. He was holding his ribs as if one of them had been broken. Thankfully it didn't puncture his lung or he would of been dead by now. "Six." He said. Six? She looked at her fingers then back at him before she lowered her hand into her pocket and pulled out a small green leaf. Of course this made her look even weirder to the stranger. But she knew for a fact that it would atleast help clear up his vision. Lily was studying to be a nurse, but that didn't mean she didn't look for other methods of medicine. The area around them housed many different natural herbs and plants to use for anything from headaches to stopping blood clots. You never know when your in a situation like this and Lily liked to be prepared. "I hear you fine...I can't see you all that well. I was...climbing trees....I feel...His my head on a branch and then glass down here...I'm pretty sure I hit my ribs too.." If he was right and he did break or crack his rib, she would have no choice but to carry him to the hospital. Even if it looked odd to others for a girl of her size to have enough strength to carry another human being close to her size, if not slightly heavier because he was a male.
She broke the leaf up into small pieces and waited for him to finish. Lightly grabbing his jaw she opened his mouth and shoved the leaf in his mouth, trying to not make him choke she place it on the tip of his tongue. "Eat this. Make sure you swallow it all down." she said with a commanding tone as she took charge of the situation. She pulled out her phone to call a friend at the hospital but she had no service. "Damn it." she muttered to herself. ."May be a little cleshay but I'm Newt." Lily kept her head facing down as her eyes moved up to look at him but a strand of hair blurred her vision, a smile crept on her face and let out a chuckle. It was funny to see he still had a sense of humor while experiencing pain. It made her feel a whole lot comfortable. "Lily." she closed her phone and tucked it back in her pocket, waving her hand over his face she wanted to check to see if the leaf had taken effect yet. "How is your vision now?"

Newt let Lily help clean him up. It took a few minutes for her to pull the glass pieces from his skin. He could tell she was being extra careful but who to blame her? Newt was in a bad situation here! He flinched at the alcohol against his wounds but the pain wasn't that bad...Just irritating. It kind of stung compared to the throbbing pain he had. He watched her wondering if she were a nurse or doctor but she appeared way to young...but she knew what she doing. Possibly a student, lucky for him for her to come along. Lily pulled something from her pocket that was a green color. He squinted his eyes to try to figure out what it might be...pot plant? Was she going to get him high? He knew it could help take his mind off the pain and possibly help his pain, but really? Feeding him marijuana?"Eat this. Make sure you swallow it all down." She put it in his mouth after tearing it up. It didn't taste like weed....it tasted just like a normal life with a twist to it. How odd.
Newt chewed it slightly before swallowing it. He gave Lily a raised eyebrow wondering what she feed him. "Lily." "How is your vision now?" Newt smirked when his vision cleared up. "A lot better...Cute name for a cute girl." He told her now that he could clearly see her. "Lily....how elegant" He smiled before looking away from her to touch his rib cage, it was starting to hurt worse. Sighing, he lifted his shirt and looked down at it. It wasn't to hard to lift his head...He saw the right side was turning purple and blue...and it wasn't a small spot it was huge! "Uhm...ouch?" He muttered lowering his shirt and laying back down.
He wondered what was going to happen now. It seemed as if he wound need to go to the hospital. His head was pondering and he blacked out so he knew he had to have a concussion...plus his rib cage in the state that it was...But how to get there? He doubted Lily could carry him. Maybe an ambulance?....."Thank you." He told her.

It didn't take no time at all to pull out the shards of glass and to pour some alcohol on the wounds. She ignored his flinching and kept her concentration on fixing him up. There was no room for mistakes and he could afford any more damage to his arm. If the shards had been just a few inches to the left then he would of punctured a vein. "A lot better...Cute name for a cute girl." Lily smiled. Was he trying to flirt with her at a time like this? Well, it wasn't much of a surprise for a teenage boy to hit on the first cute girl he see's. Then again...Lily didn't think of herself as 'cute' or anything for that matter. It didn't mean it didn't make her cheeks turn a soft red. "Lily....how elegant" Now that was something she hadn't heard before. She looked down as he lifted his shirt to reveal a large bruise where his rib cage was. It seemed to hurt whenever he moved, even if it was slight. Signing she gently placed her hand on the bruise to feel if his ribs are broken or cracked. He turned his head when she lightly pushed it in. Yup, it was broken. She could feel the end of it slightly sticking out. "Uhm...ouch?" He lowered his shirt and laid back down on the grass.
"Thank you."
[/i] Lily nodded and smiled. Atleast he had manners. "No need to thank me. Thank the doctors when I get you to the hospital. Now...can you stand?" she said as she raised herself and balanced herself on her feet with her butt resting on her heels.[/blockquote][/blockquote] Srry it sucks...didn't have much time.

Newt noticed her cheeks turn a pink and become satisfied with himself. She placed her hand on his rib cage, it felt cool to the hot skin that was trying to heal itself. He sighed. "No need to thank me. Thank the doctors when I get you to the hospital. Now...can you stand?" He couldn't move before but he could try again. Newt raised himself with his elbows then bent his knees in a careful manner. He turned to his side not wanting to bend his middle area to much then used the tree beside to aid him in helping him up. He slowly used his hands pushing himself and his body weight to a standing position. "Apparently I can." He said.
Newt took a step forward, pain shot through his body making him squinch his eyes shut. "I might need help walking." He told her opening his eyes. "I'm used to this being the other way around, but surprisingly.....I don't mind." He smirked....He was referring to girls needing help and him coming to their rescue. Also atemping to flirt again but this time more subtlly. He didn't like going to hosptials but it didn't look like he had a choice this time, if his rib really was broken he would need to go before his hurt his lung. He would rather not die anytime soon.

Lily quickly jumped to his aid, helping him up with her arm around his back as he tried to take his time on getting up. She felt sorry for the guy, she had never broken anything by accident but that didn't mean she didn't know what it felt like. For three nights of every month her bones would crack, break and twist into a different form. The pain was unbearable and excruciating. No normal human being could live through such torment and see another day. But Lily could. Thankfully she wasn't the only one, although werewolf numbers have been dangerously low. She was afraid her 'family' would die out. Even though she was not overly fond with her beast, that didn't mean she couldn't love and respect the other's like her own family. Once he was up on his feet she backed away to see if he was able to walk on his own. "Apparently I can.
Good. He could atleast stand. But as he took a step forward he held his stomach and cringed from the pain. Lily's half smile quickly faded. He was in too bad of shape to be walking. "I might need help walking." She took a quick step forward and wrapped one arm around his back and the other on his arm as she used her strength to hold him up. "I'm used to this being the other way around, but surprisingly.....I don't mind." Yet again Lily laughed. He was persistent, even in pain and Lily admired that. Although she personally thought this was no time to be flirting, she decided she would play along. Who knows, it could be fun. "Well...you never know. One day I might need saving." she said with a wink and a smile. She could feel all his weight on her and by that she got a good estimate to how much he weighed. Around 140, give or take a few she didn't doubt she could carry him. She had the strength of five men, and on her good days maybe more. "I don't think you should walk...it's not safe. Now don't freak out. Let me take you to the hospital. It'll be alot faster this way, trust me." she said before she gently pushed him back with her hand on his chest and into her other arm. With a quick swoop her other arm caught his legs and she lifted him up of the ground and into her arms like a groom would carry his bride into their honeymoon suit. Compared to most he was light so Lily didn't have a problem picking up her legs and bolting into a small run. She couldn't run as fast as she could for the jumping might do more damage. But atleast without him dragging along the way she could get there faster for the both of them.

Newt felt Lilys arm move around him to help him stay up. "Well...you never know. One day I might need saving." He gave a small smirk, finally she started back at him. Although, even if she didn't he wouldn't have stopped. "Then I'll be your knight without armor...Armor is uncomfortable." Typical Newt with his flirting humor. He didn't dare laugh because of the pain that would come with it...But he did smile.
"I don't think you should walk...it's not safe. Now don't freak out. Let me take you to the hospital. It'll be alot faster this way, trust me." Before Newt could raise his eyebrow Lily had already picked him up. He didn't fight it, at least he didn't have to hobble there. It would probably take forever anyway and this would save time. His only question was, how could she lift him? She was smaller than he was after all. Unless she was a girl to work out but still...Even when she started running he was surprised. "This works." He grinned wrapping his arms around her neck instead of having them flying around. He still felt like an idiot for all of this....he never imagined something of this sort happening to him. But the upside was he met a cute girl and if he got lucky would have her number by the end of all this. Even if it were to be just as friends he owed Lily..
Newt stayed quiet for a minute before the question started eating at him...He had to ask. "You aren't even struggling....How are you carrying me like this?" It didn't bother him on being carried as much as it did on how she was doing it. She looked like it was nothing, with ease and no struggling with his weight. He could tell she were no body builder. And he didn't even know he was putting her on the spot either...

Lily picked up some speed to make it out of the woods faster but she tried to walk the path that didn't have as much fallen branches and bushes. Jumping and dodging branches was not the best route but even as she zig zag'd to avoid it all she always came across something that just made it harder. It wasn't hard to keep a firm grip on him, he wasn't going anywhere. But with the jumping and jerking she knew it wasn't good for him to move. The strong smell of gasoline filled her nose and she knew she was close. "You aren't even struggling....How are you carrying me like this?" He had been quiet for a few minutes and she figured he would say something soon. But that wasn't one she was expecting. It was to be expected actually, because why the hell could a girl the weighed only 115 lbs could carry someone that weighed as much as him. She never worked out a day in her life, yet she ran through the forest with him in her arms like it was no trouble at all. And it wasn't. "Trust me. You don't want to know."
Lily was about to add to her statement when a small light flickered in her eyes. Looking down she noticed a small silver chain around his neck. Her eyes slightly grew wide and her heart started to pound fiercely within her chest. How the hell could she of not seen that before? She was so wrapped up in helping him she didn't even bother to pay attention to what he wore, not that it really mattered. The sight of silver terrified her. She knew what would happen if it touched her. And with her luck it did just that. As she jumped over the last fallen log the necklace fell back and brushed against her arm. A strong, piercing burning sensation filled her arm and shot up to her head and back down through out the rest of her body. She screamed out in pain, almost in the same way as he might of when he fell and hit the ground but unlike his her scream sounded like a banshee crying out. Her arm was pulsating and now she lost all control of her body and before she could stop running she lowered her arms and dropped Newt on the ground. Lily looked down at her arm and took a step back from him. It looked as if someone had stuck a burning hot rope on her arm and branded her like a cow. The pain was unbearable, but that wouldn't be as bad as the pain she would feel within a few minutes.
Lily dropped to her knees as she held onto her arm. She could feel her anger growing hot and intense like fire and slowly but surely the cream white wolf was making its grand entrance. Lily tried to use all her strength to hold her back but it was pointless. The silver had caused a shock of adrenaline that now took over her body, triggering a transformation. No....Not now....anywhere but here. she told herself as knelt on the ground with her hands flat in front of her. Closing her eyes she could feel her bones starting to shift slightly. This wasn't the place or time to be changing. She was risking not only her own safety but Newt's. Lily mentally beat herself up as she continued to try and stop the change before it was too late but the small beast inside her had other plans. The silver had hurt the wolf as much as if did Lily, and now it wanted out. If only I was as strong as you daddy.... was the last thing she thought before the final surge of adrenaline rushed through her body. Her eyes shot open at Newt, but she couldn't see him clearly as for a split second her crystal blue eyes flashed a bright golden color. Lily was too weak and she had no choice but to change.
Her bones popped and cracked as her body started to change its form. Her clothes started to tear as her body was out growing them. The experience was quick and within a few seconds the blonde girl that Newt had just met was replaced with a small white wolf with matching blue eyes. The remnants of her clothes laid on the forest floor beside it.

"Trust me. You don't want to know." Newt decided not to take the question any further. Usually with that answer drugs are involved, such as steroids. He was slightly scared she might drop him because of her jumping over branches when they would come along...Not to mention her speed was picking up. He tried not worrying about it because of her not having any issues carrying him through the forest. All he did was sigh and wait until they would reach a hospital...Would the take a cab or does Lily have a car? Surely the would need transportation.
Next thing Newt knows Lily is screaming and he's back on the ground. She dropped him! He screamed out in pain once more having a few curses flow from his lips. He needed some kind of pain medicine! And he didn't think he wanted Lily carrying him anymore...No, he would hobble instead and just make it there slower in time. He looked over at her to see her arm...it looked burnt...red...and painful...How did that happen? "What happened?" Was all he could say but her piercing screams over powered his voice. Newts heart rate started picking up and his eyes widened. He didn't know or understand what was going on! How was she hurt when there was nothing to hurt her or even how did her arm get red? He blinked, just watching....
Lily dropped to her knees..."Uhm...Lily...Lily what's going on?" Newt tried having his voice calm but it come out heavy and tensed....The next thing that happened took him more than by surprise; he was absolutely stunned and paralyzed...He couldn't move. Lily....was a wolf? He could hear the bones in her body shifting...moving...transforming...It made him feel sick to his stomach. Newt looked into the blue eyes of the wolf in front of him with fear plastered all over his face. He didn't know what to think! He was hurt and couldn't move and now a wolf was standing right there....He swallowed hard and started slowing moving away from Lily crawling backward...He made sure to be real slow but didn't once take his eyes off her....His heart rate grew faster terrified she might attack him. was he in some kind of dream? "I'd like to wake now subconscious...thanks." He thought...

The small white wolf starred at the frightened boy in front of her. She could smell the fear radiating from his body like sweat and it only made her blood pump faster. She took a step towards him but he started backing away. Her animal instincts kicked in and clouded Lily's judgement. With him backing away this made her think he was escaping. The wolf looked at him as a play toy, a piece a meat. And animals didn't like it when their food tried to escape from them. The blood that stained his clothes didn't help him either as it teased the already agitated wolf. The pain from the chain had not only burned Lily but also the animal and a large wound was on her front leg imitating the one on her arm. She let out a soft growl as she continued to slowly proceed towards him. Lily knew who he was but that didn't stop the white wolf from licking its mouth and pinning him down with hungry eyes. At the moment Lily was gone, only a wild beast hovered over the hurt boy.
Her pink nose twitched as the scent of the blood overpowered anything else. She wanted to play with him before she ate him. Maybe even taking a little taste before she completely indulged herself in the delicious meal before her. Lily struggled to hold herself back but the blood was making it harder for her to control her wild instincts. She reached her nose down to his arm where the shards had been taken out. She wanted to lick the wound not only for a test taste but it was a known fact that canine saliva was beneficial to healing wounds. But she hesitated for a moment. Lily was knew if her saliva entered his bloodstream he would be given the same ill fate as she. She wished this on no one but the temptation was too strong. Without thinking any longer she extended her tongue and started licking the gash in his arm.

Newt, still wide eyed, was still trying to inch away. He knew he wasn't far from humans but not close enough to escape with getting hurt. Animals are animals......He had watched movies with werewolves before and what happened almost fit perfectly. Only, is wasn't a full moon and she looked exactly like a wolf...not some crazy looking beast like the are in the societies translations. He didn't even believe them to be real....but now...he was thinking twice. He looked to the wolfs front leg to see it still being injured then remembered he had on a silver chained necklace...It must have touched her.....Silver hurt them right? Newt started feeling crazy at this point and wondered if he had some kind of strange drug in his system making him hallucinate.
All the sudden Lily had him pinned down...He flinched from the pain on his rib cage. His heart rate grew even faster knowing he was going to die....He wouldn't be able to survive this! The wolfs face lowered to his arm where he had gashes from the glass...She stared at it as if she were debating on weather to leave it or take a bite....This scared Newt even more...She started licking his wounds and Newt bit his lip hard...He didn't want to scream because it might make her attack! If he were lucky she would just....leave.

With a smile Charles set out into the forest in a happy mood. His arm had healed in miraculous time, the nanobots taking only an afternoon to mend it. And tomorrow he would head off to Italy, originally it was so that he could make a simple pilgrimage to visit holy sites within Rome but now it would also serve as a mission to scout out the extent of vampiric corruption within the country. Arming himself with his usual equipment he set out into the woods to work in his arm, the café tended by a manager.
About a half hour later he happened up what seemed to be an accident scene, broken blood stained glass littered the area and from what he could tell it was fresh. Looking closer he was able to tell that there had been two people here, one lying on the ground after what seemed to be a fall the other having come from elsewhere to help the first out. From what he can tell the second person had carried him away. He normally would have simply carried on his way believing the problem settled if it wasn't for the fact that the prints from the second person were very far apart as if they were making massive jumps. Too far apart to be a normal humans. Pulling his rifle in front of him he started following the trail.
He kept at it for a few minutes nearing the edge of the forest when a sharp scream pierced the silence, a girl. One that seemed familiar, slightly panicked Charles ran forward into a scene of confusion. About fifty meter ahead, near where the trail ended he saw two figures, one a boy who seemed to be panicking, the other a white wolf. He watched for a second as the wolf started to lick the boys wounds before grabbing his pistol and firing off two shots, both of which hit the ground mere centimeters from the wolf.
He wasn't sure if it was a werewolf, but from what he knew wolves in this area were rare, and even then they were obviously not white. In addition he couldn't see a second person anywhere, and that boy certainly was not the one who gave out the girlish scream. Most likely Whoever had rescued that boy had been a werewolf and something had set off the transformation. Of course he could just be dead wrong and it was simply a wild animal.
"I suggest you leave... Now or else the next two sliver bullets wont miss." he called out in his french accent, "Im not one to miss."

The moment the blood touched her tongue she let out a soft howl. His blood was sweet. Sweeter than anything she's tasted. To her human blood had not always been her favorite, it was too forbidden to her and she didn't like to be near things she couldn't have. She lifted her head away from his wound and looked directly into his eyes. The look on his face was clear to her. He was scared. Lily was upset, beating herself up inside but the wolf just sat there and looked at him. Before she could make her next move the sound of twigs snapping rang in her ears, making them perk up and twitch. The sound was getting closer and closer in their direction and before she knew it a man had joined them. Two loud shots echoed through the forest. Lily jumped off of Newt and turned around to face....her boss? Why was he here...in the middle of the woods with a gun? She felt the wind brush past her as the bullets peircing the ground next to her. This just pissed her off.
"I suggest you leave... Now or else the next two sliver bullets wont miss."
[/i] Her lightning blue eyes looked up at the man, a snarl escaped her mouth. She wanted to jump on him and rip him to shreds, but she held herself back. How did he know about silver? Did she really look that much different than a normal wolf? Well...it was obvious that not many white wolves occupied the area so she could understand why he would be curious. But that still didn't explain how he knew silver, of all things, would be the thing she most feared. She planted her paws firmly on the ground, standing in front of Newt she lowered the front of her body down to the forest floor and raised her tail up high in the air. In her mind she was protecting her food, but to Lily she was trying to protect the human even though it was obvious Charles was there to protect Newt from the wolf. Newt needed to get to the hospital and Lily knew she couldn't do it. So now he was in the hands of her boss. But the pistol was still aimed at her. She knew she had no chance, well...she did but that would result in not only one lycan but two. And that she couldn't be responsible for. So with one last howl she bolted to the left and ran deeper into the woods.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
