Lottie Dove EvansCharacter Play-by: Ashley Tisdale
name: Lottie Dove Evans, originally Leta Durio until she and David Devlin Evans left their homeland. She was given the name by a priest in England in the year 1024 AD, who said the name meant Free Bird of Peace. age: Appears as a young adult, in her early twenties, but is actually just over two thousand years old. gender: Female orientation: Straight race: Vampire, eats exclusively American Black Bears birthplace: She was born into the Roman Empire, in the area that is now Italy. current location: Rather nomadic, but has found current residence in Washington. occupation: She nor David work.
personality: Lottie is not in the least your average vampire. For one, she drinks only from American Black Bears, but that is simply a preference. If she could, she'd never drink blood again, but that would kill her. To be honest, however, she's considered death before. Lottie has truly regained her human values and compassion, because she knows that she is a murderer, and God would look down upon her. How could he forgive her for what she's done? It's a dilemma she faces with each meal, and each day, and the only thing keeping her from pulling an Edward and walking in broad daylight in Italy is her mate, and lover of over two thousand years, David Devlin Evans(of whom I will put up a request for after I've been accepted.)
He's shared her feeling about the matter before, but believes that god would forgive them because of their shame, and realization of what they had done. Because he had a conversation with a human once about god and what not, and the human told him all about God's undying forgiveness. Lottie just can't wrap her head around that, though. Remorse is something evident in her composure.
Lottie is usually calm, reserved, and quiet but when provoked she does have those primal instincts to kill. Unlike many vampires, though, she can restrain herself, and not act on them. The only thing she does is yell, scream, and get really pissed. Mind you, you'd have to piss her off pretty damn bad to get to that point, but it's not impossible. Generally you can find her reading, or observing the locals of whatever town she's in. She's read most books in most book stores, but there's an abundance of new people in the world every day, and very much alive humans fascinate her, with their different personalities, and ways of thinking. She's particularly interested in human disorders of the brain, and has a PhD in psychology, but it's from the eighties, and the ages and time wouldn't match up to her, so she doesn't really have use for the degree itself anymore.
The biggest and most prominent aspect of her entire being is her compassionate nature, of which she and David have both regained(just soon after the year 100 AD, actually). Lottie, as a human, was very kindhearted, and gentle, never looking down upon a person, or even an animal for any reason. She was in tune with mother Earth, and would have rather lived in a tree then in her village. Alas, that was looked down upon, and could have resulted in being banished. While she was a new born she was as unruly as any baby was, but after a short period of time she began to regain her human emotions, and realized just what she had become, and how horribly wrong it was to follow those instincts. Every life had meaning, and she had no right to take it. That's why she's so regretful now, and looks down upon all vampires and other creatures who kill for sport. She despises the fact that she has to be nourished by the Black Bear, but she is praying that God will forgive like David said he would. detailed history: Lottie Dove Evans was born Leta Durio into the Roman Empire, in the area that is now Italy, in the year 26 BC. She lived as all regular romans did in that period, and was only set apart by the fact that she was much more kind and tolerant than anyone else in the entire empire. Her human years were short lived, unfortunately, and in the year 6 BC, she was turned by a vampire who was only ten years old, in terms of vampire years. That man, Drusus Evander, would turn out to be her beloved David Devlin Evans. Directly after turning her he, in a sense, grew up, even if it was impossible for a couple of baby vamps to grow up. They stuck together, only straightening up and switching to bear blood around their one hundredth birthday in the year 100 AD.
Lottie and he abandoned Italy and the Roman Empire in the year 150 AD, to explore the world and those in it. To be honest, their lives were really uneventful. No one ever suspected them of being anything but human, considering their incredibly kind natures, deadly beautiful looks, and intelligent minds. The two traveled the world together, and their love was one thousand and three hundred years old before anything drastic took place in their lives.
The two returned to their homeland, neither really affected by the demolished villages which had been built over, as it had been twelve hundred years. But upon arrival, they were approached by what both knew simply by scent was another vampire. They were cautious, as neither had ever met another vampire who wasn't insane, or a baby. David and Lottie were introduced to the Volturi Coven, and were very enticed by the idea, until they found out what, or rather, who was on the menu. A couple of innocent humans, and that turned David and Lottie away. They caused no harm to the Volturi, and posed no threat, so David and Lottie continued on their way, never returning to that area of the world since. To be honest, the two fear the Volturi more than they should.
From that incident to the present day they have been nomadic, their setting subject to change, except perhaps in the past two hundred years. They've been living mostly in the west coast of America, and South America, as they switch between every so often. The two have just been dealing with their struggles, and trying to find something to do with their now boring lives. Honestly, their somewhat like a couple of elder people, having already done everything there is to do. fears: That an innocent will die at her hands, that her whole life has meant nothing, that David will die strengths: Incredible self-control and restraint, she's very persuasive and ingenious with words, she's very small and quick, and she is very well versed in historical matters, since she lived through most of them. weaknesses: She is madly in love with David, and if he ever died, she'd probably follow. Sometimes she doesn't know when to shut her mouth. She doesn't trust anyone(except David), which could go either way I suppose. likes: Reading, learning about cultures, Native Americans(their history and culture is very interesting to her), everyone, tolerance, the human brain, hot days, and warm nights, nature, children dislikes: Living off of blood, vampires who drink human blood, murder, cold days and nights, the scents of other super naturals bother her nose profusely,
facial appearance: Lottie has a round face, with features nearly symmetrical. Her eyes and nose are rather small when looked at with her chubby cheeks, but her nose is relatively normal compared to the size and shape of her other facial features. When she genuinely smiles, which doesn't come often, her mouth is wide, and her eyes glow like they are alive again. clothing: She mostly dresses in formal attire, never sticking out from the crowd too much. She prefers pants to dresses, but she wears them both. The thing in her wardrobe that sets her apart is her jewelry. Number one, the amount she has weighs more than her car, and number two, she has varied jewelries. Lottie owns a lot of gold, but most of it is from her days as a human, for she doesn't like gold that much anymore, it's become old to her. Her favorite accessories she owns are those that are tribal-like, of which she has collected over the years. Cultures fascinate her. build: She's only five foot one, and has a little bit of muscle, but she doesn't look at all harmful. However, she could kill you in the blink of an eye. marks/scars: She has three scarred lines across her left upper arm from when she was first turned into a vampire, and fought back. species appearance: Lottie has the golden eyes that all vegetarian vampires have, though hers tend to be a bit darker than most. Her skin is also a bit darker than most vampires as when she was turned she was used to being outside all day, and had rather tanned skin. It's still pale, and ghostly, but not quite as much as other vampires. powers:
