Carlisle Bacilli CullenCharacter Play-by: Peter Facinelli
name: Carlisle Cullen age: Looks 25, but he's really 362 (he was born in the 1640's so I just gave him a specific year, hope you don't mind) gender: Male orientation: Heterosexual race: [if vampire, include diet] Vampire, animals birthplace: London, England current location: Forks, Washington occupation: Doctor
personality: The doctor's most prominent trait is his compassion. It was described as his supernatural ability in the Saga. Well, almost. Years of loneliness before he met his wonderful spouse, Esme, and his loved 'children', with whom he still cares for and loves unconditionally. This indicates that he is motivated by everything he does in life. This blond can also be very patient and non-judgmental. He follows the old saying 'never judge a book by it's cover', because he knows that many people who aren't pretty on the outside, can be gorgeous on the inside. Bree Tanner, before she dies, says that she trusts him. Well, this man is very trusting, yes indeed. He's honest. He knows how to treat certain people, given years of life. He would kill himself if he drank human blood, because, he doesn't even want to be a vampire. Most would say that he's crazy for being a doctor, given the circumstances, but in New Moon, Carlisle says to Bella that he's had years of practice and control. detailed history: Dr. Carlisle Cullen was the son to a church pastor back in the 1600's. He was born in the 1640's during a time a great political and religious upheaval. The vampire's father and other pastors led a great hunt to kill the werewolves, vampires, and the other mythological species in attempt to rid the world of evil spirits. But this army of good ended up killing innocent people, not able to tell from human, to the supernatural. As his pastor of a father aged, Carlisle began to take over the raids. He was more worrisome about killing these creatures. But the former human was more successful, seeking a whole coven of vampires in the sewers in London. Chaos ensued, and the man was attacked. He was bitten several times, then the evil coven fled, leaving Carlisle alone, bleeding to death. But the vampire felt the venom spreading across his body. Knowing what his father would do, he climbed into a potato cellar to live out his painful transformation. Emerging three days later, he tried to commit suicide thrice, succeeding not one bit. The newborn eventually gave up, and went to find a large animal to test out his new hypothesis. He dove onto it and drank its blood, his theory proven right. The vampire drank one more before he began to feel slushy. Carlisle found new life. He lived off of animal blood for two centuries before finding his career. He became a doctor, still resiting the blood lust. A year or so after pursuing his job, Carlisle found Esme, his soon-to-be wife. She had tried to commit suicide herself, by jumping off a cliff, but obviously failing. Carlisle brought her to the hospital past hours and made sure no one was around. At his first attempt to turn a mortal to an immortal, the doctor bit the woman, watching in agony as her new agony began. Three days later, he knew who his wife was. A half a century after the couple married, the came across a boy whose parents were killed by the Spanish Influenza. He was dying because of it, too. Carlisle sent Esme home and bit the boy, who later he found was named Edward. Esme and Carlisle were away from Edward for about a decade, since he first decided to live on his own. But he came back, and their family/coven began to grow. fears: being killed, Esme being killed, the rest of his family being killed. strengths: blood, being with family, working. weaknesses: fire, the Volturi, seeing his family upset. likes: Family, work, and helping people. dislikes: Fire, the Volturi, and seeing his patients die.
facial appearance: Pale white, but very beautiful. He has a small mole on the far side of his face, but it only makes him more gorgeous. clothing: Wears stuff that Alice gives him. It's plain-ish, but looks wonderful on him. At work he wears a white doctors' lab coat. build: Muscular marks/scars: A few moles and freckles, but that's really it. No scars. species appearance:I don't know what this is, but I'm pretty sure it's his eyes and skin. He has golden eyes because of the fact that he eats animals. His skin is very pale, almost white. powers: Compassion
your name: Mandy age: 13, almost 14 how long have you been roleplaying?: 4-5 years shhhhhh how did you find us?: Um..... Unbreak My Heart codeword: [can be found in the rules] eclipse
roleplay sample: (from a site I used to be on, but I've saved my app) The nurse manning the desk came out of the hallway to Cassandra's right, apologizing profusely to her as another nurse came to situate Cassandra and take her vitals. After taking down the necessary questions--what happened, how it happened, and so on and so forth--the nurse left, with word that the doctor would soon be with her.
Today, that doctor was Carlisle Cullen.
After the amnesia stint, which had affected more than half the city, Carlisle had taken only a day "off" before returning to work. Of course, there had been much insisting that everyone be checked out for some sort of disease that would have caused the amnesia, but with some clever manipulating in his part, and a pint of blood or so that was not his own, Carlisle had avoided that.
However, that didn't change the facts.
Still, Carlisle went about his business, while keeping in the back of his mind his concerns over the family, over Kerry, over the town in general. He worried regarding the size and safety of his family--with Autumn, their newest addition, and the hybrid child Bella and Edward were hesitant to keep--the size was nearing that of the Volturi's innermost circle. Carlisle would never, ever attack the Volturi... but they did not seem to believe that, and therein lied the danger.
Then, of course, there was Kerry. She knew more than she ought to, more than was safe, and as he was the one to lead her to this initial discovery (unintentionally), he felt it was his responsibility to both ensure her safety and the continuation of her lack of solid knowledge. It was better that way.
Then, of course, the town... seized by the strangeness on New Years, and now, still growing in size with supernaturals. It was a hotbed, this place--partially because of them. But, it had been the humans and the Quileute shapeshifters first. Who were they to remain here and let it grow, until the supernaturals outweighed the humans?
All this lurked within Carlisle's thoughts, as he entered the curtained area housing their newest visitor--a woman with a knife wound.
"Hello. Cassandra Adams, correct? It's pleasure to meet you, though not necessarily under these circumstances, I think," he greeted, smiling warmly at the woman. "I am Doctor Carlisle Cullen--you can call me Carlisle, if you're comfortable with that. Otherwise, Dr. Cullen is fine. Would you mind repeating what exactly happened to your arm?" He already knew the information the nurse had listed, but it was always best to hear a story twice. He took her arm gently in his hands, without moving it much, and began to visually examine the wound. It looked clean, and deep--a muscle injury, most definitely, but as far as he could tell (and he had the eyes for it) there was no damage to the actual bone.
