(She is at a playground near dayfall.)
spin, spin, spin, spin. a little dizzy. spin, spin, spin, spin. a little dizzy. repeat.
Grace spun the chains of the swing set the let it go so she could spin in circles. After doing this quiet a few times she stood up and tried to walk a straight line. Yeah, that didn't work out so well. She toppled over and giggled. .....Today had been so boring that she was trying just about anything to amuse herself. This included doing some pretty dangerous things. Spinning the swings was not nearly as bad as what she was doing. Earlier she took a trip to the forest and jumped out of trees at different heights around 200, 300 feet in the air. She even tried jumping from one tree to the other at different speeds. After that she rolled down the hill and straight into the lake.
Sighing, Grace laid on her back, lifted her knees up, and watched the clouds go by. She was starting to settle herself down now, only, she really didn't want to. She wanted to go do something else. But what? With a small 'ugh' she stood up, finally not dizzy, to sit back on the swings. She swung her legs back and forth until she got as high as the swing would let her then took a deep breath. She went back on last time and on her way back she slid off her swing and straight into the air. Adrenaline ran from her head to her stomach and back to her head and then through her whole body! She landed on her feet and hands in a crouched position. She had to have been at least hundred feet up! With a shrug of not caring how high she was, she just had to do it again! Her skin was tough to rip anyway so why worry about it?
With a huge smile she stood up and ran back to the swing. But she deiced she better wait a few minutes before doing it again.

The streets were deserted. The only noise around was the sound of a dog barking and the street lights flickering at they lit up the usually packed street. The sun was peeking over the horizon, night fall would soon come as did Olivia's feeding time. For the last few years she has stayed in her house and let the servants be her catch dogs by getting her food for her. It seemed that soon after she joined the Volturi she has become like a domestic animal as her every move was now being watched. She was known for her animalistic tendency's and twisted mind frame, many years of hate, revenge and loneliness built up in her giving her the drive to act out and catch her meal...and entertainment for the night. For over a century she caused fear and havoc on any town she came across, slaughtering and drinking from the towns people she had quite the reputation for being a blood thirsty vampire out for revenge. But now the fire that burned inside of her, that desire for the hunt was not as strong as it used to be. Now the only feeling that was left was loneliness.
Olivia took a stroll down the street, her heels clicking against the pavement. She had no certain direction in mind, her main goal was to wander around until she was satisfied. Not only was she hungry, but she was also bored. She was tired of being stuck either at home or at he Volturi Manor, she rarely ever went out just to enjoy it. As she walked down the street a sweet smell filled the air. It grew stronger as she got closer, finally pin pointing the location she followed the scent. It wasn't human, she knew how to tell the difference between different types of blood. The scent was different though, nothing she had smelt before. There were hints of human in there, young...maybe a child. But yet, there was another more familiar smell mingled with it. Curious as to what the scent was coming from she sniffed the air and followed the smell to the playground. It was empty, just like the streets except for one little girl. Olivia wondered why a young girl would be out here all alone, but then again figured she could be more than she looks. Linking her fingers together she slowly walked towards the girl as she flung herself into the air. Olivia kept her distance, not wanting to frighten the little girl she put on a smile and opened her red painted lips. "It's getting late. You shouldn't be out here all by yourself. Where are you're parents?" she asked softly as she came to a stop a good distance way from the girl, her red eyes studying the girls face she noticed something different. Her eyes were red, like hers. She wondered if she was an Immortal Child, hoping this would not be the case. Olivia was not in the mood to end a vampire's life tonight but she knew if Aro was to find out, he wouldn't be so hesitant.

Grace wanted to do that again, it was to fun to just do it once. It wasn't like she needed to do anything, seeing as she's already feed herself a gross deer. The only thing she needed to do was find a place to sleep which, usually she found a tree and slept on the branches, or she could go find a human to munch on. She didn't really need sleep though, just liked to do it. It let her mind rest. She thought about all those things reassuring herself that she wasn't wasting time. "It's getting late. You shouldn't be out here all by yourself. Where are you're parents?" She looked over to the voice and a huge smile formed. She looked at the red eyes and quickly noted that she didn't have a heartbeat. Vampire. She didn't seem like trouble so Grace didn't worry about anything. "I'm always by myself. I don't 'ave a home. I never met my dad and mom died giving birth." She said sweetly, jumping of the swing to stand at her 4'3 height. She walked over but kept a six foot distance from the vampire. "I'm Grace Micheals." She said with a large smile. "I'm kind of like you only I have a heartbeat. It's a quiet one. And I don't glitter all pretty like you probably do." She pouted for a moment.
"I swung really 'igh and learned I can't fly. You should try it with me! Et's really fun!" Grace knew she was rambling so she tried hushing herself. It never worked out as well as planned though. Grace gave the other a smile to let her know there wasn't a reason to be worried or concerned or whatever she was, trying to figure her out? She seemed kind of sad, or lonely. "Are you sad? Don't be, I'll play with you!" It didn't occur to the hybrid that she might not know what hybrids are. She looked up, waiting for the other to respond.

The girl looked up at her and melted Olivia's heart right away. Yes, Olivia Thorne was a vampire, and yes she drank from humans...but that didn't mean she was completely heartless. Before she had became the person she is today she was warm hearted, giving and kind. She had a bubbly personality and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. But all that changed when her brother was murdered by Maria's coven. That was what drove Olivia's hunger for blood. But now...now Olivia was unsure. Looking at the girls face reminded her of simpler days. Memories of her husband and her family, her old town and friends. She had a wonderful husband, beautiful house and was the prettiest woman in town, everything a woman in the 18th century could ask for. But there was one thing she longed for but never got. A child. Preferably a daughter. She had always wanted a miniature Olivia to dress up and raise. Hopefully raising up to be a beautiful young lady, find a good husband and give her grandchildren to spoil. But it was too late, she could never have children. "I'm always by myself. I don't 'ave a home. I never met my dad and mom died giving birth." the little girl said sweetly as she jumped off the swing and walked towards her. She was the cutest little girl that Olivia had seen. Her bouncy blonde curls bounced as she jumped. Her cheeks were as rosy as her eyes, which made Olivia think more about who this child was. The girl had a heartbeat, yet her eyes are not the usual blue that Olivia had guessed was her original eye color. She was human, but also a vampire. Olivia had not come across a vampire hybrid much in her long life, only a few she has met and so far as felt uneasy about them. But this girl....she was too cute to resist. "I'm Grace Micheals. I'm kind of like you only I have a heartbeat. It's a quiet one. And I don't glitter all pretty like you probably do." If Olivia could blush, she would be as red as her eyes. With a warm smile Olivia bent down to the girls level, never taking her gaze off of the little angel. Grace Micheals....what a pretty name, Olivia thought. Michael was her late husbands name making her heart flutter. "Aw, well now aren't you just the sweetest thing." she said warmly, her southern accent making it clear she was not from around here. "I swung really 'igh and learned I can't fly. You should try it with me! Et's really fun!" Every time she spoke Olivia's heart pound bounce around in her chest. Olivia didn't mind her rambling, she even found it rather amusing. "Are you sad? Don't be, I'll play with you!" Her wide smile quickly faded into a small one. Clearing her throat she did not want to scare the girl away, instead she decided to keep her words simple so she could understand. "I'm okay, darlin. You know, its not good for a cute little girl like yourself to be out here alone all the time. Someone bad could snatch you up, its dangerous here nowadays. Would you maybe like to come home with me? I have a big house with lots of servants, all the food and blood you can have and toys for you to play with." she knew she would probably sound like a kidnapper to the girl, but she also couldn't help herself from asking. Olivia couldn't find the strength to walk away from her and let her live out in the streets. Eventually the Volturi would find her and their visit wouldn't be so nice. Grace reminded Olivia of when she was human, a feeling no other could give her. She had already held a spot in Olivia's heart the moment she laid eyes on her, she couldn't let her go. "Would you like a mommy?" she asked warmly.

"Aw, well now aren't you just the sweetest thing." Grace watched Olivia bend to her level. She didn't have the same accent as the other Americans in these parts did; she wondered what area she was from and made a note to ask her later. She knew she was already liking her though! She stooped to her level and most people make her look up at them. "I'm okay, darlin. You know, its not good for a cute little girl like yourself to be out here alone all the time. Someone bad could snatch you up, its dangerous here nowadays. Would you maybe like to come home with me? I have a big house with lots of servants, all the food and blood you can have and toys for you to play with." Her eyes went big in excitement. "Blood?" She repeated happily. "I ate a deer earlier and he was gross. I want human blood, you 'ave zat? And I like toys and painting my nails, will you paint my nails? I want them the same color red as my dress." She giggled and swung her body side to side so her dress twirl with her. She looked at Olivia then tilted her head. "Oui, I'll go with you." She agreed then pulled a pretend scary face, "I'm okay on my own. I'm big and scary." Giving a little jump, she jumped on her tippy toes then fell back flat on her feet, no shoes today. Going to a place where people would wait on her sounded fantastic! She could be a needy little girl especially when it came to feeding, and she loved toys!
Grace surprised herself by agreeing to go. She had a hard time trusting others because of her past, but that was because of the scientists. What if she wanted to test on her? Grace pushed the nasty past and thoughts back and continued smiling. Olivia is a vampire, not a human, so no reason to worry about anything. The looks on her face told her that, she had a calm and sweet look on her.
"Would you like a mommy?" Grace blinked her red eyes; this question took her by surprise. She had always wanted a mommy. A person who would tuck her in at night and play with her, or dress her up, or be a shoulder to cry on. She remembered videos of her own mother the scientists showed her. The women had blonde hair like her own, skinny, blue eyes, and was tall, unlike Grace. She was beautiful. To be honest, she didn't know why the question come up but decided to answer anyway, "Yeahhhhhh," She answered sweetly. "But no one wants me." She pouted a little pathetically. It wasn't completely true. The humans seemed to want to take her to an adoption agency all the time, only she doesn't trust them. It was the trusted that never wanted her, vampires.

"Blood?"
[/i] the girls face lit up with excitement. This was a surprise to Olivia, she was not expecting this from such a young girl but liked it nevertheless. "I ate a deer earlier and he was gross. I want human blood, you 'ave zat? And I like toys and painting my nails, will you paint my nails? I want them the same color red as my dress." Olivia laughed as the girl rambled on. She had quite the bubbly personality, something Olivia felt was very refreshing. She also noticed her accent was different. She was not from around here, but was also not from America. Olivia had never been out of the country but she knew alot of vampires that had and knew that this girl was from France. How she got here thought, Olivia could not figure out. "Oui, I'll go with you. I'm okay on my own. I'm big and scary." Olivia smiled at the child. She was like a little ball of energy in a pretty red dress. Olivia pictured the two together, having a tea party and dressing up in her clothing, just like Olivia used to do with her mother. "Yeahhhhhh, "But no one wants me." Olivia's smiled quickly faded and was replaced with concern. She couldn't imagine anyone who could resist such an adorable face like that. "Aw, now I wouldn't say that. I want you. You're the prettiest little girl I've ever seen." she said warmly, trying to make the girl feel better. Looking down she saw that the girl was bare foot. Raising an eyebrow, Olivia knew it was time for some shopping. Holding her hand out she invited her to take it and to follow her back to the car. "Let go get you some new clothes and some shoes."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Grace noticed she wasn't answering any of her questions and took them as no's. But she saw the smiles and heard the laughing and figured it was better than nothing. At least she wasn't agreeing to do everything she said like everyone else did. She couldn't understand why people did that. One time, she asked a guy climb a tree and hang upsidedown on a branch for an hour, he did it. "Aw, now I wouldn't say that. I want you. You're the prettiest little girl I've ever seen." Grace's face let up and she smiled widely. "Let go get you some new clothes and some shoes."
"Okay." Grace agreed happily taking her hand. "Do you really want me?" She asked in a high voice, disbelieving, looking up at her. She walked with Olivia with a jump in her step, it showed how excited she was. "I want a mommy. Are you going to adopt me? I'll give you hugs and make you gifts. I promise to be good!" She rambled. "We can 'ave tea parties and watch movies. I like playing dress up too." Grace thought about being adopted by someone and wouldn't mind at all to have a family. She has wanted one since she escaped the evil building.
Which brought her back to the thoughts of the male vampire that took her in before finding himself a mate, she became quiet for the first time. She missed him. When she snapped out of it she said, "You never told me your name."

"Okay. Do you really want me?"
[/i] the girls hand fit perfectly into Olivia's. Her petite fingers wrapped around the girls hand, making it disappear. Her gaze never left her's as she stood up to walk. Olivia was particularly tall herself so she didn't have trouble walking perfectly straight with the girl next to her. The young hybrid was excited as she skipped down the street. "I want a mommy. Are you going to adopt me? I'll give you hugs and make you gifts. I promise to be good!" A small laugh escaped her lips as her comment. "Yes I'm going to adopt you. I know you'll be good." she stated. "We can 'ave tea parties and watch movies. I like playing dress up too." Yes, those were the things Olivia had wanted to do for over a century. Uneasy how quickly all of this was happening she dismissed the thought from her head with just the look from the child. "You never told me your name." She was right, she had never released her name. "How rude of me. My names Olivia Thorne, darlin."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Yes I'm going to adopt you. I know you'll be good." Grace smiled showing her perfectly straight baby teeth. Her heart jumped with joy, barley believing Olivia wanted to adopt her. She didn't even care that it was moving along fast because all she cared about was having someone to care for her. She couldn't wait until Olivia dressed her up and got some food. She wondered if their were humans their to munch on or if it were glasses of blood already; either way, she didn't mind. The human part sounded more fun considering she likes scaring the holy living crap out of them before nibbling. She giggled, "Oh okay." Grace smiled at her name. "We're going to have fun." She giggled in a thoughtful voice.
