A cherry red Lotus Europa drove through the streets of Forks, Washington at a startling speed; never stopping until it screeched to a halt in a parking spot in the Forks High School student parking lot. The engine turned off and the door to the car opened. That is when she was seen, the 5’4” size two girl, better yet vampire, stepped out of the car with a bag over her shoulder. She was wearing tight black jeans, a white tank top, and a vest. Her high heels clicked against the pavement as she walked to the main office, she felt the eyes of people on her as she walked. This only made her smile wider than she already was, she loved grand entrances.
She stepped into the main office and talked to the woman casually as she got her class schedule, after about ten minutes of chatting she walked out of the office, leaving the stunned woman in her wake. And just as she stepped out she felt the eyes of the student body back on her, “I wonder how they would react of I was actually using my power…” she said, but it was barely audible. It was then she caught the scent of vampires, “The Cullen’s…” she said decided finally, realizing those could be the only vampires here.
She walked over to a group of tables and swiftly found an empty one. As she sat she pulled a book out of her bag, The Tragedy Romeo and Juliet was sprawled across the front, and just as she went to read it she suddenly thought of her love that resulted in the tragic loss of the man she had loved in her human life, as well as her vampiric transformation, it was the only real part of her human life she strived to hold onto and she did so with the bracelet around her wrist. Upon the smooth leather band the letter L.A.F. were written, his initials. She smiled slightly she her finger traced over the letters before she turned back to her book and read intently, ignoring the occasional looks she got from passerby’s.
