The music was too loud for her sensitive ears to bear. She could feel the bass as it vibrated through her feet and up her entire body. This was not the kind of music she was used to, her time was not from here. The fast paced thumping beat was quite an annoyance to the vampire. Watching as the woman finished her drink she could see that she had gotten comfortable with the red eyed blood sucker. On her best days that would of been a bad choice for the french vampire, but tonight Olivia thought of her unusually nice behavior was her being civil. “If that will make you more comfortable then fine.” with a slight nod Olivia stood up and lead Brooke through the crowd. They walked through with ease as every person they past would just stop dancing and stare at the two. Olivia smiled and just pushed the thought out, knowing that was one of the many advantages of being a vampire. They attracted the hypnotized dancers like a moth to a flame. She did not know much about Brooke, but she had hoped she was used to this by now. It took Olivia one hundred and sixty five years.
Reaching the large bouncer she flashed a smile. With a nod he un hooked the red velvet rope and let the girl's inside. The music was muffled, making it easier on Olivia's ears. A man and a woman occupied the large booth. Their passionate kissing and groping gave Olivia the impression their were a couple, or at least a one night stand. Snapping her red painted fingers the two ceased their kissing and looked at the two. Their heart beats were racing in their chests, the rhythm of their heart over powered the music on the dance floor. The sweet smell of sweat and warm blood invaded the air. Closing her eyes she let out a soft snarl, her mouth started to water as the burning sensation coated her throat. Her body grew numb with need for sweet, fresh blood. Opening her eyes a hiss escaped her lips, her white fangs barely pinched her bottom lip. Fear took over the couples face as they jolted up and scurried out the lounge. With a sign she smiled, finally the temptation was gone. Now able to relax she took a seat on the booth like seats. Leaning her back against the red velvet booth she placed her arms out, resting them on the back of the cushion. Once settled she apologized. "My apologies. I don't know what came over me. Please, sit, relax." the Paula Dean sound alike said with a smile. "So, Brooke. You're from France, of course, tell me more about it. I've always wanted to go there but never got the chance." she said warmly.

Brooke followed after Olivia with a small smile on her face. She loved attention from others, even more so when she used her gift even but she was satisfied by this amount of attention. They entered the VIP section and when Olivia looked like she would devour those people right then her muscles tensed up, 'Perhaps wasn't a good idea...' she thought. Then the couple split and Olvia relaxedand apologized and Brooke nodded and relaxed as well.
She sat down as well and relaxed into the booth's red velvet, "Sixty-four years ago France was fantastic... I haven't been back since then... Well, honestly I have avoided that entire hemisphere since I left it." she admitted to her.

Olivia knew she made the woman feel uncomfortable and she didn't argue with that. She did not take pleasure in it but also didn't worry herself. Olivia for the most part could handle herself around humans, but this time she could not help the fact that the atmosphere in the room was too intense for her to control. "Sixty-four years ago France was fantastic... I haven't been back since then... Well, honestly I have avoided that entire hemisphere since I left it." she heard Brooke say. Olivia knew she was not young but she wasn't expecting such a long period of time. In the 1940's Olivia felt most comfortable with the current lifestyle other than her own. The fashion was simple but classy, not to mention the men were to die for. Flashing a smile she leaned in, balancing her elbows on her knee cap she let out a gasp. "Ah, the 40's. One of my favorite period's to live in. I had a lot of fun back then." she said with a small chuckle, her thoughts occupied with her past. Quickly returning her attention back to the woman she continued "Now why would that be? I make sure to visit my home sweet home in New Orleans every decade."

Brooke sighed lightly at Olivia's questions as she recalled her past, it was after all what she had come here to forget. "I am not fond of a few things." she told her simply, "My step mother and I never got along after my father died so I ran away to England." Brooke started slowly, "I met a guy there and on the night of our wedding I was attacked by our neighbor, who turned out to be a vampire... I still can't believe I never knew..." she looked saddened before she continued, "He told me that if he couldn't have me then no one could. He began to drain me of my blood."
"It was then that Luther showed up, he had wondered what had happened to me... He tried to save me and the vampire turned on him instead. I watched as he was drained of his blood, I watched the man I loved die because of a jealous vampire..." She shut her eyes before muttering more, it was if it was playing behind her eyelids. "Before the vampire could turn back to me the police came running. With searing pain going through my body I realized what had happened and I knew it wasn't going to be accepted... I hid in the shadows of an ally as I turned." She finished her story before looking back at Olivia "My turning is why I don't drink human blood.... and it's why I fled to America... I fear my creator may want to finish his job." she told her calmly.

"I am not fond of a few things."
[/i] she heard Brooke simply state. "My step mother and I never got along after my father died so I ran away to England. I met a guy there and on the night of our wedding I was attacked by our neighbor, who turned out to be a vampire... I still can't believe I never knew...He told me that if he couldn't have me then no one could. He began to drain me of my blood." Olivia listened closely to her story. It was a sad one, heartbreak and betrayal felt all too similar to Olivia as well. The most sharpest memory she had was her transformation into what she was today. She would never forget the agonizing pain, the burning sensation filled her body as the venom took over like a parasite. Glass breaking screams filled the room, only to be quickly muffled by the hand that covered it. Flashbacks rushed together all at once, blurring them to a point to where she couldn't remember them anymore. Her most vivid memory was the most horrifying. "It was then that Luther showed up, he had wondered what had happened to me... He tried to save me and the vampire turned on him instead. I watched as he was drained of his blood, I watched the man I loved die because of a jealous vampire..."[/i] Not only could Olivia see the pain in her eyes, but she could also feel it. She kept her gaze on the woman as she continued. "My turning is why I don't drink human blood.... and it's why I fled to America... I fear my creator may want to finish his job." She could not blame her for her choice, as for Brooke could not do the same to Olivia. But Olivia felt sorry for the girl, she knew the feeling of being alone and afraid. She often didn't like to admit it, but she knew all to well. Luckily for Olivia, she never had to watch her husband die. At least not in front of her eyes. In a state of awe she leaned back, her head tilted as she showed sympothy for the woman. "I'm sorry it had to happen like that for you? You seem to be taking care of yourself quite well, though." she said with a smile. "Now I don't know who changed you, but after sixty four years I would guess he isn't coming for you. But then again....I could be wrong." she said with a slight shrug.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"I can't risk it..." Brooke told her, her smooth voice cracked slightly, "I want to stay far from where I watched Luther die." she added, "It would hurt too much..." she told her. She took a breath in, tasting the air and feeling her throat burn slightly, "It's why I came here tonight... Though I enjoy the good memories I have of my life with Luther they are not as vivid as my last time seeing him..."
She bit her lip and let out sigh before smiling sadly at Olivia, "I am sure you don't want to hear about all my sad existence without Luther..." she apologized and placed a fake smile across her face. She had the sudden urge for something to drink but ignored it.

"I can't risk it..."
[/i] Olivia could hear the crackle in her voice. "I want to stay far from where I watched Luther die. It would hurt too much...It's why I came here tonight...Though I enjoy the good memories I have of my life with Luther they are not as vivid as my last time seeing him...I am sure you don't want to hear about all my sad existence without Luther..." With a sign Olivia shook her head. Leaning forward she placed her hand gently on her knee as she spoke "No, it's okay. I know what it feels like to loose your soul mate. Not in the way your's has happened, but sad never the less." leaning back she tried to show sympathy for the woman, knowing how it feels to struggle with something your whole eternal life. Snapping her fingers a waiter appeared with two glasses of blood, setting it down he left as quickly as he appeared. Of course her's was animal blood while Olivia's was refrigerated human blood she leaned down to grab her drink she motioned for Brooke to take the other glass. A burning sensation took over her throat as the two started to become emotional.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Brooke shook her head, trying to push her emotions away the best she could. She then took a sip of the blood and set the glass down gently, "I never thought I would talk to a human drinker like this... I mean no offense but after what happened I am not fond of them..." she explained to her, "Though I am sure you thought the same as us vegetarian vampires."
She took another sip, "Thank you by the way... I needed this.... Talking helps" she said with a small smile before taking another drink.

"I never thought I would talk to a human drinker like this... I mean no offense but after what happened I am not fond of them..."
[/i] Olivia understood, but still couldn't change who she was. It was her personal choice as was Brooke's. Olivia's pleasure for the kill had slowly died down as the years went by, feeling she has become somewhat domesticated. She hated that fact but couldn't find the motivation anymore. It had been a long time since her brother was killed and now her thirst for vengeance had grown dry. "Though I am sure you thought the same as us vegetarian vampires." With a nod Olivia smiled and took another sip from her drink as she leaned her back against the velvet seat, her foot slowly moving in a clockwise motion. "Yes...well....if only you met me a few years ago. I wouldn't of been so nice back then." she stated. "Thank you by the way... I needed this.... Talking helps" shaking her head slightly she placed her drink on her knee. "It's alright, darlin. You just happen to be lucky we met now and not a hundred years ago. Oh...I still remember to this day." she said with a sign as she thought about how she felt when her heart grew cold and sadistic. Olivia was no the type to kill aimlessly, she always had a reason. Choosing her victims wisely she watched their moves, memorized their routines and hid in the shadows until that perfect day where she could take her prize. She had no remorse, no regret, just the undying thirst for blood. "Heh...I wouldn't of been as light hearted as I am know. The years went by though, habits started to grow tiresome. My passion for the kill is not as it was once. But I do still enjoy the sweet taste of fresh human blood, that habit I can not kick. No matter how hard I try."[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Understandable." Brooke admitted before taking another sip of her drink to get rid of the burning in her throat. She thought for a moment before she looked at Olivia with a thoughtful look on her face. "Well... I have told you my story...." she started, "I was wondering if you would tell me yours... not all of it of course but maybe about part of it." she was slow and careful with her words as she asked for a better look into the woman's life. She sipped her drink slowly and waited for her answer whether it be a rejection or a story.

"Well... I have told you my story....I was wondering if you would tell me yours... not all of it of course but maybe about part of it."
[/i] she asked. Olivia closed her eyes and let out a sign. Just like Brooke she tried many times to rid herself of the painful memories, but along with her curse of eternal life she could never erase her own memories. The flashbacks seemed all too real, as if they had happened just yesterday. Swirling her drink she took another sip, her smile quickly faded. Opening her eyes she looked up at Brooke, "Heh...well. I was born in Louisiana, as you can already tell." she pointed towards her southern accent, waving her hand slightly. "I was young, I had just married the love of my life. Just like you. His name...hmm. Michael Crawley. He was a strong, not to mention the most handsom man in New Orleans I may say. A southern gentleman too. All the girls flocked towards him, but he chose me. Me...huh.." she said with a soft laugh. "Well anyways, soon after we married the South declared war against the North, thus the Civil War broke out. And as any eligable man would, my husband was drafted. I begged him to not go, but he wouldn't listen. Little did I know that would be the last I would see him." she stated, her throat growing agitated and dry. Her hands were shaking slightly as she lifted her glass towards her lips. Taking a sip to relieve her pain she continued. "Soon after that my stupid brother lost the house, leaving me homeless. Back then there was no place for a poor, young widow. So I traveled West and as much as I hated it, I had to make money some how. I had to sell myself. The thought still disgusts me as much as it did then, but I had no choice. At least until that beautiful stranger swooped in and changed my life forever." she told only the beginning of her story, not wanting to say too much at once.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Brooke silently listened to her story as she sipped her drink, "I see." she muttered when she was finished. "Why is it that he changed you? He just felt like?" she asked, she was quite curious about the matter of being changed. Since her change was not quite as one would have wanted she wanted to know how others changed and this little fact usually got her in trouble with those vampires. She realized that she might have been digging too deep and gave an apologetic frown, "Sorry, I don't mean to pry. You don't have to answer that... I am still young for a vampire and I tend not to fully think before I act..." she told her.

Swallowing the red liquid Olivia pressed her lips. She was not expecting for the young vampire to be interested in her long sad story, but she didn't mind sharing. Besides it was only fair since Brooke had already poured her heart out. "I see. Why is it that he changed you? He just felt like?" she asked. Raising an eyebrow Olivia set her drink down back on her lap as she cleared her throat. "I'm not exactly sure. He told me he saw potential. That he had the gift to see other's powers, but for me he saw it before I became Immortal. I don't know his name, or where he is now. But I want to thank him for giving me a second chance at life, but then again I want to rip his head off for making me into such a violent person. When I was human I would of never imagined some of the things I've done. But that's all in the past now, I've moved on since then." she said truthfully. There was no escaping who she was, she could only accept it and try to control her thirst. "Sorry, I don't mean to pry. You don't have to answer that... I am still young for a vampire and I tend not to fully think before I act... Olivia smiled and shook her head. "No, it's alright deary. I don't mind a little bit of storytelling." she said with a smirk, she knew to the younger generation she would sound like an old timer, but this was the way she talked. She couldn't help it if she was old.

Brooke nodded, happy her questioning wasn't taken the wrong way like it tends to be. With Olivia's help she had been able to get back to her usually way of being. Since this crying sappy self was not how she was at all she was happy to feel semi normal, even if semi normal was a bit slutty. She was this way because she was looking for someone to make her feel like Luther had, even if she didn't actually mean to it was more of a subconscious thing. But because her talk with the human blood sucking stranger she had met tonight she could return to her normal self and had even hoped to continue some sort of friendship with Olivia due to the kindness she had shown her. "Thank you so much... this has set me free..." She reiterated, "I can be myself again... without carrying that secret with me like that..."

"Thank you so much... this has set me free..."
[/i] This made Olivia smile, her heart grew slightly warm. She was not used to this feeling of being nice, but she didn't mind it. At first she thought she was drugged, but now she knew her conscious was slowly coming alive after a century of hibernation. "I can be myself again... without carrying that secret with me like that..." With a slight nod she raised her drink in the air. "Good, good. There's no need to dwell on the past, I've recently learned to let go myself." she said, taking a last sip from her drink she set the empty glass down and signed. "I have grown tired of this place. Their scent's are too overwhelming, even for me. You should come with me to my estate. I very much enjoyed your company, your such a sweetheart." she said, having a country girl moment. Standing up she held her dress down so it wouldn't ride up as she stood. Only taking a few steps she stood by the door, looking back at Brooke as she smiled and waited.[/blockquote][/blockquote] Srry it's short X.X i didnt want to god mod.
