The night was young and the music was thumping. Olivia's red heels clicked on the floor to the beat. She could feel the rhythm pounding on the floor beneath her. Her smooth pale legs were crossed under her tight black dress as she sat back on the red velvet seat. Her back as perfectly aligned to the long booth seat, her elbows resting on the back with her hands dangling. She was relaxed and trying to have a good time. She watched the dancers on the balcony's and the people on the dance floor. Olivia had been around, meaning she made a few friends along the way. Granting her access to some of the most secluded parties and hottest clubs. She got to sit behind the red velvet rope and chat with the owner. It was necessary for her to be able to get into any place she wanted, for she liked to pick her victims wisely. She didn't like to mess up or leave any trace. It may just be a meal to other vampires, but to her it was entertainment as well. Grabbing her martini glass filled with blood, she reminisced about her days as a saloon girl.
There was no loud techno music or bright flashing lights. Only the sound of men yelling and laughing, chips clanking together, and the music from the piano. The room was filled with smoke and left a harsh taste in your mouth if you held it open for too long. Customers did not order dirty martini's or cosmo's. It was all whiskey and rum. The men were dirty and drunk, always gambling their hard earned money away on a game they weren't going to win at. It was pathetic really. But Olivia didn't care, it was what she made a living off of. Even though she was a 'lady of the night' she didn't go without. Being one of the most wanted and prized saloon girls she had pretty dresses, took a bath every night, and had a lifetime of free drinks. She had to look attractive to make money. One of her most favorite dresses was a long green and black gown. Detailed black beading ran down the front of the pale green top. A black undercoat with black beading horizontal all the way to the back of the dress. With her hair up in curls and a matching black beaded choker, she was the talk of the town. Even after she died and came back of course
She watched the bouncer at the door on the other side of the bar move aside to let people in. Normally Olivia wouldn't think anything of it, throw it aside. But her body felt tingly when her eyes set on them. Sitting up she watched closely as the group of humans made their way towards the dance floor. There were different kinds of scents Olivia had been noticing through out the night, the smell of sweet human blood took over the place. Being a vampire she had an exceptional senses, smelling everything from the sweat beads dripping down the dancers to the vomit on the floor in the bathroom. The scents was overwhelming, making her mouth water. She placed her glass on the table beside her and excused herself from the V.I.P section. She bowed her head to the bouncer protecting the elite guests and made her way to the bar area. She was hungry and on the prowl, searching for her next meal. Stopping at the bar she requested another drink. She waited as she looked around, watching as the people paid no attention to anything else but the music. TAG!? OPEN WORD COUNT 626 OUTFIT present day , flashback dressMUSIC www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IngANUSPz4NOTES!? i didn't want a perfectly good post to go to waste XD

Brooke walked away from her Lotus Europa, leaving it parked on the streets of Seattle. Her tight skirt and tight tank top barely moving in the light wind. Her three inch black heels clicked across the pavement as she walked to a club, the closest one to her, and with a simple flash of her power she was allowed access to it thanks to a now dazed bouncer. She walked away and the bouncer immediately went back to doing his job.
"Time for a drink." Brooke decided and she made her way to the bar.
"I.D." the bar tender said.
"Why? Can't you tell I am of age?" Brooke asked as she flashed her power.
"Of course darling. What can I get you?" the man asked.
"Dry Martini" she said and with a simple nod the bartender began to make her drink.

The music was loud, taking over her ability to hear clearly around her. But even with one of her senses crossed out she had plenty of skill with the other ones. The bright lights flashed blues, purples and greens over the many people dancing. Her eyes studied the dance floor, making a note of every single person in here. All human, and all food. The scent of hot, sweaty humans made her mouth water as their smells radiated around the room. Her gaze moved over towards the door at the precise moment a tall brunette walked through the door. She was exeptionally beautiful, not to mention a very good dresser. She focused her attention on her, watching her make her way towards the bar. She sat a few stools down, her elbow on the bar with a glass in her hand. Her eyes never left the young woman as a smirk crossed her porcelin face. The closer the female got, the more she could smell her. Olivia knew, from years of experience, that this woman was not human. Not only because of her alluring presence but because her scent was had over powered the whole room in the instant she walked through the door. Only a vampire could do that. Olivia could smell and see a vampire from miles away due only because she's had a lot of time to practice. "I.D." the bar tender said. "Why? Can't you tell I am of age?" "Of course darling. What can I get you?" the man asked. "Dry Martini" she overheard the bartender and woman talk. When the young female had made it to the bar Olivia had noticed her eyes. They were bright. Yellow, not red. Olivia chuckled in her head. Her first year she had to live off of animal blood, but ever since then she had went against it. With a smile Olivia slid down the bar and stood up, her drink in her hand. Tilting her head she responded "Now honey, I thought you were the Bloody Mary type." she said with a smile as she took a sip from her drink, her southern accent making her sound like the younger version of Paula Dean. The music was loud and to anyone else they would have to shout, but instead it was easier for them with their sensitive ears. She rarely spoke with vegetarian vampire's but tonight Olivia's mind was already made up.

As Brooke waited for her drink she picked up the smell of a vampire in the club. "To think I thought I could get away for a little bit..." she sighed. It was then that she was approached by the very vampire she had smelled. She turned to face her and frowned at the blood red eyes, "And why do you say that?" she asked her.
The bar tender had come back with her drink and when Brooke flashed her killer smile accompanied by a flash of her power the man was left dazed. the brunette took a sip of her martini before turning her attention back to Olivia, "You were saying?" she asked her as the bar tender came out of his lovey daze. Her voice had a small hint of her french accent, however it was ever so slight and only vampires picked up on it. She flashed Olivia a small smile and waited for an answer.

"And why do you say that?" [/i] she heard the brunette speak. She didn't know if the girl was just playing the innocent vampire act or if she was really that naive. An old but familiar smell lingered off of the woman, Olivia guessed she was not new vampire. She watched as the as the bartender handed her the Dirty Martini, flashing a smile. Naturally vampires are seductive to humans, luring them in with the charm but it had seemed that she was using a bit more power than just her natural abilities. It was probably also due to the fact that her voice sounded French, known for the language of love. Olivia had never traveled out of the country except for Italy once. She had always wanted to go with Michael, it being the ideal place for their escape away from the war. But he had decided to join instead, crushing Olivia's plans and heart. "You were saying?" she said. With a small laugh Olivia sat down on the stool and set her glass down. "You look like you've done that before..." she said nodding her head in the direction of the bartender. "You like it don't you? Get's you into a lot of places doesn't it?" she said with a smirk as she lightly joked at the girl. She took a sip from her drink, her legs were crossed and her free hand resting on her lap. She decided to go easy on the girl, not wanting to fight tonight.[/blockquote]

Brooke sighed lightly and downed the rest of her martini, wishing she was still human so the alcohol would take affect so it would wipe away her last human memory if only for a minute. It was the reason she was here after all. She sat beside Olivia and motioned for another drink. "I do enjoy it. It gets me what I want when I want it. Why? Every vampire can do it, to an extent." she said with an innocent smile. She was playing dumb presently, not wanting to give away what she could do.
The man returned with another martini and Brooke didn't react to his existence as she accepted her drink, keeping her golden eyes on Olivia as she sipped her drink.

Olivia watched as she downed her drink. There was no reason for them to be drinking these alcoholic beverages. But sometimes it was satisfying to taste something other than the taste of warm thick liquid. "I do enjoy it. It gets me what I want when I want it. Why? Every vampire can do it, to an extent." Olivia smiled and laughed, turning her stool around so she was facing the bar. Finishing her drink she slapped it on the table and demanded another one. Her elbows rested on the bar as she slightly slouched towards the bar. "Oh honey, don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with that." she stated as the bartender slipped her a drink. Holding it lightly in her hands, the tips of her fingers held it in the air as she took a sip from it. "You know with those qualities I'm surprised you're not going to eat that bartender over there later tonight." she said, mentioning her powers along with her golden eyes as she pointed towards the bartender with drink in her hand. The bartender had happened to glance at them the moment they looked, he smiled and nodded. He was tall, muscular and a pretty boy. Olivia wanted to play with him and then eventually suck him dry.

She couldn't give up the sweet taste of human blood compared to the average taste of an animal. Olivia was a creature of habit and was quite comfortable with living off of humans. She figured she was doing them a favor, ending their short, pathetic little lives.

Brooke raised an eyebrow at Olivia and frowned widely, she knew what she could do, it was obvious so she gave up, "Just because I know how to attract people doesn't mean I want to drink their blood. Besides, red eyes won't go with my newest wardrobe." She said casually, "I'm guessing yours does though, it would be tragic to clash."
When she finished the second drink she sighed and set the glass on the bar. "Dammit..." she said, it was almost inaudible. She was done trying to forget him for tonight and now wanted out of this damn club as fast as she could but she couldn't be rude and smiled at Olivia once more.

It had seemed Olivia had picked the wrong night to try and socialize. The girl seemed to be on edge, her mind was elsewhere. She could smell the tension radiating from the girl. She was a vampire, she didn't need to drink anything other than blood. Olivia figured she came to clear her mind, and she didn't blame her. Even though she got no satisfaction from drinking human drinks, but it was nice to taste something different sometimes. Even if it didn't effect her anymore. "Just because I know how to attract people doesn't mean I want to drink their blood. Besides, red eyes won't go with my newest wardrobe. I'm guessing yours does though, it would be tragic to clash." she heard the brunette say. A smile formed on Olivia's face. She was a spitfire and she liked that. Even if she had golden eyes. "Oooo...ouch." she said jokingly as she took another sip from her drink. "You know I used to be like you....a very long time ago. But then I started acting like a Vampire. You should try it sometime." she said sarcastically with a smile, joking around with the girl. If she had any kind of common sense she would know that Olivia was not trying to start any fights, she hoped her internal skin was just as hard as her external one. She didn't understand why anyone would lower themselves to filthy animals. She found no harm in helping the human population decrease, making sure to kill anyone who wouldn't miss them she figured some animals in the wild will eat their own kind why can't she. Dammit.." the woman said. Olivia had watched her down her drink as if it would actually have some effect on her. She knew there was something occupying her mind, and the fact she didn't want to be there. "Whatever's bothering you, that won't make it go away. Here, let me atleast get you something you can actually enjoy." she said as she called the bartender over. Curling her fingers, motioning for the bartender to lean closer she whipered in his ear and he noded. Taking out a scotch glass and a dark vile of liquid he poured the blood in the glass and handed it to the young female. "Here it's on the house. Don't worry....it's vegetarian." she said with a slight smile.

"I can be a vampire with out sucking humans blood, it's a personal preference not to kill humans." Brooke told her simply. She was uncomfortable now, she just wanted to get out and that wasn't going to happen anytime soon so she decided to relax and be whimsical, "I am going to enjoy being a immortal, and that includes enjoying the fashion trends because these are so much better than the clothes that I wore back in the day." she told her, "As for the drinking, can you blame me? I am French and I really want to forget a few things." she said, "I just keep hoping it will work, and it never does..." When the bartender handed her the glass she sniffed at it lightly, smelling to make sure it was in fact an animals, "I already ate..." she told her but she took a sip anyway. She began to relax when the blood slid down her throat until she was entirely comfortable with the situation.

"I can be a vampire with out sucking humans blood, it's a personal preference not to kill humans." [/i] she heard the woman say. To be honest she didn't really care what kind of blood she drank, but also couldn't help herself for atleast wanting to know why. "I am going to enjoy being a immortal, and that includes enjoying the fashion trends because these are so much better than the clothes that I wore back in the day." Olivia agreed. She didn't know what time she was from, but in Olivia's day it was all dresses all the time. They were always long, heavy, and literally breaktaking as they would tie up the corsets so tight it was hard to breath. Olivia loved her decorative gowns and such, feeling the most comfortable in them. But she couldn't neccesarrily walk around in that style of clothing anymore. She would stick out like a sore thumb. "As for the drinking, can you blame me? I am French and I really want to forget a few things. I just keep hoping it will work, and it never does..." There had been plenty of times when Olivia wanted to go to a bar and drink her sorrows away. But she knew she had to live with her memories forever, as did every vampire. There was no escape from it. She watched as she took the glass and brought it up to her nose. Olivia knew she wouldn't trust her at first, and she didn't blame her. "I already ate..." she said as she took a sip anyways. She could feel the unsettling feeling in her stomach as she watched the girl's movements. Her mind seemed cluttered and she seemed to be having a bad night. Olivia normally didn't help strangers, but she figured she would give it a shot. With a slight touch she placed her icy cold fingers on her arm. "Relax. Clear you're mind. There's no need to stress yourself on a night like this." she said in a soft voice as she 'influenced' her to calm down. She moved her hand back to her glass and took another sip of it as she watched her reaction. "I'm Olivia by the way."[/blockquote]

Brooke had relaxed slightly, slightly being the key word. Her muscles were less tense, though she was obviously still stressed. It was then that red heads hand touched her smooth skin and made Brooke tense up even more then she had before. She wasn’t afraid of the woman but she also preferred not to be touched by people she barely knew, and she had only just met her. It was then that, even though Brooke was about to pull away from her reach, she was spoken to in a soft voice.
Her thoughts of her life had been flooding through her the entire day, causing her to end up here attempting for maybe the fourth or fifth time in her immortal to drink away the thoughts that never left. She was now happy she had done so; this vampire she thought she wouldn’t like had now caused her pain to go away. And even for one night of freedom from her thoughts of that night sixty-four years ago she was now grateful for her attempt to drink it away and grateful that attempt had led her here to this vampire that halted her ails for the night.
Brooke’s muscle loosened until they had lost all sign of her previously tense stature. The hard line that her jaw had become softened gently until she looked serene. She shut her eyes for a second and took in a breathe of the air she didn’t need, tasting the sweat along with other assorted fluids that had become stirred in the air dance across her taste buds. This would usually make a vampire go crazy and blood thirsty but this had little effect on her, granted it did make her throat burn slightly but that was solved by a sip from her glass.
She opened her eyes slowly and looked at the vampire beside her with a pleased smile, “Whatever it is that you just did, I thank you.” She told her peacefully, “It’s nice to have met you Olivia. My name is Brooke.” She told her politely.

Olivia could feel her tension and it was starting to effect her mood. Her power surged through her body like she was struck with lighting, the hairs on her body stood on it's end. Even after years of practice, it had seemed that some people gave her different side effects for using her powers of persuasion on them. The woman did not like Olivia touching her, and she didn't blame her. But if she was going to be talking with her, she needed to have a clear mind. The moment she touched her she could feel her body tense up more, but soon after Olivia could see that whatever was taking over her attention was now gone for the time being. Olivia could now relax herself and enjoy her night. The lights were flashing bright in her sensitive eyes, she did not like being in places like this for very long. The loud music was painful to her ears as they were ten times louder to her than the normal human, the only thing that was louder were the hundred's of fast paced heartbeats pumping in their chests as they danced. Olivia had managed to control herself around humans when she was hungry, which was always. But she even had her days off. With a sip from her glass she kept her eyes on the woman as she opened her eyes and smiled. It had seemed that Olivia had done something good for once in her one hundred and sixty five years of killing and mayhem. “Whatever it is that you just did, I thank you.” Olivia acknowledged her with a nod. “It’s nice to have met you Olivia. My name is Brooke.” she was interested in Brooke and her power, wanting to know more about her and her vampire life but she couldn't concentrate with all the noise and smells teasing her like a fat kid who wants candy. Finishing her glass she swung her stool around so her body faced Brooke. "This loud music is hurting my ears. Do you want to maybe move to the V.I.P lounge? Plus there's not as many humans in the room, their like a fish flapping on the beach and I'm the hungry cat their teasing." she said jokingly with a mischievous smile.

It was promptly at this time that Brooke remembered that Olivia was in fact a vampire that drank the blood of humans. It was unusual for her to be around a vampire like Olivia for more than a few minutes because she wasn’t really fond of them however, she had talked to Olivia long enough and was a little more comfortable than she was when she had first been approached. She decided in the long run it might be beneficial to befriend a vampire close by, no matter what type of blood she drank. Then again, Olivia had cleared her mind for the night and for that she at least owed her a few minutes of her time.
She breathed in the scent of the people around her, making her throat burn slightly at the taste that danced across her taste buds. She quickly brought her glass to her mouth and took a long sip from it until the burning feeling was satisfied, leaving very little in the bottom of the glass and she downed that as well. She set her glass down on the bar and looked at Olivia with a small smile, “If that will make you more comfortable then fine.” She said and she stood up quickly and waited.
