Keisha Regan Catori Character Play-by: Blake Lively
name: Keisha Regan Catori age: 200 gender: Female orientation: Straight race: Shifter birthplace: La Push, Washington current location: La Push, Washington occupation: Mechanic
personality: When people first see her, Keisha leaves the impression of a being a bit of a badass. In all reality, that first impression is nearly right on target. Keisha normally keeps to herself and isn’t one to say much off the bat. She likes to keep a low profile, and doesn’t often get close to people.
Keisha is normally a very cold and distant girl when people first begin to know her. She has grown, from living on the streets, tougher than many other girls her age. Keisha is, for lack of better terms, punk taken to a whole new level. She really is quite a bad girl, and has a one-of-a-kind attitude. She’s extremely stubborn and is a natural born leader who hates being held back. Once set off, she has a nasty temper.
Deep down, Keisha is a very sweet girl. Though she is fairly interested in a fight, she is always looking to challenge herself. She loves the very fact of violence, in a way making her stronger for her own fights, both physically, and mentally. Though Keisha puts on a tough exterior for everyone to see, inside she’s a raging fire of emotion that just can’t seem to get in control, even after all the time she’s spent on earth.
When people finally get through to her, she is an extremely loyal friend, and will let herself stop at nothing to protect the ones she cares for. Many of the people who actually know her entire background always seem to find a strength being around her. She couldn’t tell anyone how exactly, but she seems to be very able to take on every aspect of the world thrown at her. detailed history: Keisha was born and raised on the La Push reservation. She was the first born, while Pete is only a two years younger than she is. For most of her childhood, she and Pete lived happily in La Push. When Keisha was five years old, she found out about her wolf lineage and was always looking forward to being able to change for herself. Her father had tried a number of times to tell her that she might not have gotten the wolf gene but that didn’t stop her from dreaming. And somehow she just knew it was true.
Two years later, she was finally able to get her wish. Keisha and Pete were outside, arguing like they had always done. Keisha wanted to go for a run. Without Pete. But her brother wanted to come. Her dad talked her into it and she finally gave in. She was running as fast as she could, and Pete stayed pretty close on her tail. In front of her, her father led the way over the trail. When he stopped and stiffened, Keisha felt a fear grip her heart and it was only confirmed when her father ordered her to take Pete back to the house. She ran for her life with Pete beside her, her hand clasped tightly in his. Behind them they were able to hear their father’s heavy paws, and then it suddenly stopped, replaced by a sharp whine and a noise that was forever etched into the children’s brains. Nearing the house, Keisha was able to hear her mom yelling at them to get to the house, see the panic on her mother’s young face. But Keisha saw something her mother didn’t. From the blind spot of the porch, a newborn vampire attacked, ripping her mother limb from limb in front of her and Pete.
That night the Keisha had taken Pete to a small cave not far from their house, but far enough that they would be safe. The kids fell into an uneasy sleep that night, their dreams haunted by the sights and unworldly sounds of the death. The next morning they went back home, and Keisha, in her rage, transformed for the first time. Two years later, Pete was able to transform for the first time. For ten years the kids stayed at their home alone, trying to keep on their feet. Finally, when Keisha was nineteen, she decided that they had to move on, vowing that on the way she would find the vampire that killed her parents. Pete, not wanting to give up Keisha went with her, and together they left the reservation as wolves, wandering the world. Neither of them had known that being wolves for so long slowed the aging process to something less than a crawl.
They traveled all over the United States, making themselves known around the wild packs as Wanderers. They changed only a few times, in order to travel across seas, and stayed in the wild of Romania for the better part of two centuries. Keisha didn’t know exactly what pulled her back, but one day she finally decided to go back home. Once back in the states, Keisha and Pete moved for miles at a time without sleeping until they came to the edge of Port Angeles. fears: ~ Loosing her little brother ~ Forgetting ~ The future strengths: ~ Running (excellent speed) ~ Dares (dare-devil) ~ Violence (out of anger) ~ Gore (out of anger) ~ Freedom weaknesses: ~ Her Younger Brother ~ Friends (these are the people she considers family) ~ Love ~ Freedom likes: ~ Dogs ~ Soccer ~ Chasing Squirrels ~ Baseball ~ Running ~ Cliff Diving ~ Reading ~ Reading a Good Book ~ Watching Horror Movies ~ Playing the Piano dislikes: ~ Liars ~ Cheaters ~ People Who Think They’re Everything ~ Vampires ~ The Restrictions of a Pack/Taking Orders ~ Make-up ~ Dresses ~ Over Excessive Shopping ~ People Who Underestimate Her ~ Being Bored
facial appearance: Keisha’s face is beautifully round framed by her blonde hair. Its wavy and falls to about the middle of her back, which Keisha will normally have tied back into a ponytail. Her eyes, as a human, remain a shimmering, icy grey blue. But as a wolf, her right eye will remain the same, but her left eye will change to a swirling white. The damage to the eye had been given to her as a wolf, so it remains that way. clothing: Keisha is normally seen in a black tank top and black jeans, that’s normally her street cloths. It is a rare sight to see Keisha dressed up, but she’s willing to only when there’s good reason. That’s when her true beauty is reveled and just how old she really is. She constantly wears a black chocker around her neck with a hand carved wooden wolf pendent. The chocker had been her mother’s and she’s worn it every day for as long as she can remember. build: Keisha is about normal height for a girl. She looks about 19 when she’s really almost breaking 200 years old. She has a slim build. Though well muscled, she’s a bit underweight, even for being “19”, but not anorexic. She’s been running most of her life which contributes to her muscle and build. marks/scars: The scar over her eye only visible now as a human, and even with advanced healing, the eye wasn’t able to regain its vision. She also has five slender scars running from her left collar bone, over her shoulder, and down her back. This scar was given to her from a rogue vampire when she didn’t move away from his hand in time. species appearance: As a wolf, Keisha is fairly small. Her fur is a coal black that slowly melts to white on her legs, underbelly, and head. Around her left eye is an abnormal splash of black fur, only emphasizing the white of that eye. She has often been mistaken for a Husky, which is really just fine by her, since it’s a good cover up.

roleplay sample: Keisha stood on the mountain, looking down at the lights from Port Angeles a few miles way. She could still feel the super natural pull of her old hometown. Beside her, her brother muttered something, and she laughed lightly. “No, Pete. I don’t think the town missed us all that much.” She felt strange, being here again after all this time. And she still didn’t know what exactly she was feeling that made her come back. She was almost afraid to be back. She just couldn’t explain why. Maybe he was here, the newborn that had killed her parents so long ago. Though she was fairly sure he wasn’t a newborn anymore.
The cold December wind whipped the snow around her and her brother, blowing her blonde hair out of her face. “After all this time, we’re almost finally home,” she muttered, looking past the bright lights of the city to dimmer ones of the small town of Forks. Something was there for her. Waiting for her to take it and give in to her instinct. “C’mon, Pete.”
She started nimbly down the rocky slope running past and over the boulders. She ran straight at a small ledge, launching herself off of it as far as she could. Mid jump, she made her transformation, her front paws hitting the ground softly and letting her gain more speed down the incline. She felt Pete’s thoughts enter her head as the moved onto the flat snowy ground.
Home. It wasn’t that far away anymore. She wondered what had happened while they had been gone. Two centuries could easily change a town. She wondered who made up the La Push pack now, if the Cullen’s were still around, and if there were any other vampires that had made their homes there. She’d find out soon enough. With the way she and Pete were moving, they’d be there before dawn broke.
