The sun started to descend back into its cave as the darkness started to take over. The sky held beautiful hues of purple and pink with vibrant red and blue peak through the array of colors. The air was crisp, but not warm like most summer weather was. The air held a cooling touch which was a relief from the heat the blazing sun gave off. It had been a gorgeous day full of activity for the Nimir-Ra. She had woken up early to clean her house and found herself buying eclectic pieces of artwork for her house. Tyra hated for such as spacious place to be bare and since she had only lived there a few months, she made it her mission to pick up at least one item to decorate her new home. She had also managed to buy a few groceries; always making sure her refrigerator was full. With a day off, she had decided to step away from Forks and enter Seattle. Tyra was use to a large city setting so she felt comfortable being. She found herself more in Seattle than she did her own town. After living most of her life in the city, she needed a change and living in Forks was soothing to her soul. Thankfully, Seattle wasn’t far away or she wouldn’t be able to survive with a large city close by.
On such a night that could have many of wonders, Tyra found herself walking in one of the parks. Her feet stepped in the freshly mowed grass as she headed towards the center of the park. A hand gripped her leather purse as it slid slickly against her black leather tube top. The top corseted in the front and ended in a little bow near her navel. Black leather pants fitted her hips like a glove, accentuating her feminine curves. On her feet were black zipper ankle boots that had a four inch heel and one inch platform toe. The slight breeze tasseled her short spiked hair as it massaged her scalp. Small, black studs were in her ears and her make-up was natural. The Nimir-Ra looked like she was ready for a night out on the town, but what she really had in mind was to relax. She loved clubs, but tonight, partying wasn’t in her agenda tonight.
Lights lit use the center of the park as the sky went completely dark. The large water fountain that was marble, but had a contemporary vibe to it came in view. Tyra marveled on the way the water poured out of the fountain as if it was untouchable. The lightening hit the water in such a away that it looked like crystals flowing down the marble. A soft smirk lit up her face as she walked towards it. She could smell the scent of fresh water and the pungent aroma of grass. Approaching the fountain for a second, she stood there and proceeded to walk way to more of secluded area. Being in the bright light was too much for the Nimir-Ra for she endured the sun all day and didn’t need to at night.
Away from the direct light, she lowered her frame on a bench and crossed her legs. Hazel eyes closed as she listened to the rushing water and nature. Tyra was finding her life in Forks was more peaceful than in St. Louis. She loved and Pard and missed them dearly, but one by one they were taken by the war she was trying to protect them from. Having her on Pard here was a new life, even if it was extremely small at the moment. Tyra had to focus on getting her life together as well as caring for those under her protection. Surely, there were more werecreatures, but the question was where? She allowed her self to drift farther into her thoughts while listening to the water.

It was getting late. The day had already passed, slipping through Lily's fingers before she even stopped to think. She had reluctantly went out with her mother in Seattle. The big city did not interest her. Too crowded, too many cars, not enough grass or trees. Her mother wanted to take Lily out shopping and then afterwards grab coffee. It seemed like a fun enough day for her, but being in the city was just too much for her. She couldn't breath normally in all this commotion. It made her nervous, her wolf was nervous too. It didn't like to be in tight spaces just as much as Lily didn't. You couldn't even tell the difference between stars and airplanes or power lines. She was glad to be leaving here soon, she didn't belong here. For some reason Lily hadn't been feeling too good. She had this odd sick feeling in her stomach. Lily hardly got sick, she thought it could of been just the flu. She did work in a cafe and a lot of germs is passed around in there. She just hoped that it wouldn't ruin her day. Today was her first day off in a long while and she didn't want to just throw it away. Lily and her mom walked out of the coffee shop and started towards their car. She could finally breath now that she knew she was going home. Then, out of no where, one of her mother's friends spots them and grabs their attention. Her mother was extremely happy to see her old high school friend. They ran and embraced each other in a warm hug. Lily was happy for her mom, but was a little irritated that her trip home was delayed. Knowing her mother, they will talk for hours. So to pass the time Lily stood there and smiled. Across the street she noticed a large marble fountain. The light illuminating from it caught her attention. Fascinated she mutter to her mom, telling her she would be back in a minute. Walking across the street and knew her mom probably didn't even hear her. The closer she got, the more the smell of flowers consumed her. The Seattle park was very breathtaking during the sunset. This was the one thing about the city she did like. She walked over towards the fountain and picked up a coin in her purse. Looking at it and twirling it around her fingers, she thought about her dad. With a flick of her wrist the coin was tossed in the air and landed in the bright fountain. TAG!? From her shoulders down to her toes, every muscle in her body started to relieve its tension. Her breathing started to slow down as she inhaled and exhaled deeply. Imagines started to appear in her mind as the tranquil sound of the water started to pull her into an altered state. Soon, the Nimir-Ra found herself near a waterfall. The water rapidly fell over the cliff and splashed into a pool of gently water. It was a beautiful reunion of two opposites that had the same thing in common. A hand inched forwards the water as she placed it on a cool, damp rock. In that vision, she leaned her lithe frame over the rocks that surrounded the bank and found a reflection of an ebony leopard staring back at her. A smile pressed on her lips as her fingers started to curl and claws started to emerge. She sat there and mediated, taking in her surroundings as the beast she was stared back up at her, not the human skin that she was in physically.
Another sigh passed through her lips as she thought about her family and the found memories she had of them. Tyra was comfortable with who and what she was. She wasn’t human, but lived amongst them and could shift into one of them. A gift as she called it. Her mediation held full of adventures and laughter until it came into an end with a final thought of her former Pard. As soon as her eyes started to open, the Leopard Queen smelt the stench of another nearby. The smell wasn’t human nor feline, but was canine. A curious look crossed her brow as she sniffed the air once more then turned her head in the direction of which she could hear foot steps. Silence fell over Tyra as she watched a blonde female with a crimson red dress emerge from the direction of the street. She watched as the female flicked a coin within the fountain. A ping sound came forth from the fountain as it landed in it.
Was the scent coming from her? All signs pointed to her as Tyra twisted her frame on the cool bench to get a better glance at the female’s face. It was her luck to run into another lycanthrope, even if they were not the same species as her. With one lukio, there was bound to be more. Since wolf lycanthropy was the most contagious to catch just like the rat strain; it was most likely there was a Pack around. A smirk crossed her lips as hazel eyes lingered on the female a little bit longer. Maybe she could help her out with something.
”Isn’t the water beautiful? I hope you have made a wish and make sure to tell no one. The myth that your wish won’t come true is accurate. Did you come out her to admire the fountain or for something…. else?,” she asked in a soothing voice that was friendly, yet chilling at the same time. The Nimir-Ra put emphasize on the last word, wondering if the blonde came out there to hunt.

The sun was finally hidden behind the tall, bright buildings. Lily hated the fact that the buildings were so tall, and all the lights in the city shone brighter than the actual stars. You could never look up and gaze at the stars in the city. It was near to impossible. It was also so noisy and crowded. The crowds of people made her nervous, and her wolf nervous. But the one place she did enjoy was the park and its fountain. It didn't seem as crowded with people and the smell of freshly cut grass calmed her. Plus she liked being away from her mom for a few minutes. She loved her dearly but she's the type of person you can only take in small amounts through out the day. She was very loud and very blunt. This morning Lily had to change five different times because her mom couldn't decided which dress was better for the occasion. Lily didn't care, they were only going out to the city. But her mom was picky like that. While watching the glistening water, she could feel that she wasn't alone. Of course there were people strolling past her, and the occasional jogger would go by. But this feeling was different. She felt as if she was being watched. The feeling was creepy and sent goosebumps down her arms. She wanted to look around to see all who was around her, but she felt that if she did something would happen. She couldn't tell if that something was good or bad, but she didn't like not knowing. Shortly after she heard the sound of heels clicking on a stone floor. It seemed to be getting closer to her. Finally a presence was standing right next to her. Lily finally grew the courage to turn her head, and when she did she let out a soft sign of relief. It was a woman of tall stature, even without the heels she looked to be taller than her. Her hair was short black spiked hair, light caramel skin, and a smirk that made Lily feel comforted and scared at the same time. She thought why would this woman just walk straight up to her randomly. She had never met someone this straight-forward, well besides her mom. She heard the woman speak, her voice was soothing and almost cat like. Certain words had that ssss and phurr sound. Lily couldn't really understand it, but it sounded like it came natural to her and it was actually quite nice. ”Isn’t the water beautiful? I hope you have made a wish and make sure to tell no one. Well that was very random, Lily thought. She wondered what else she would say next after a few second pause. The myth that your wish won’t come true is accurate. Did you come out here to admire the fountain or for something…. else?” Ok, now that was creepy, Lily thought to herself again. Something else? What else was there than to throw a coin in a fountain. Lily hadn't even really wished for anything. She just thought about her memories. Does that count? With a small smile she nodded and replied "Um..I'm here with my mom." she said, pointing her thumb behind her back. "I...I didn't really make a wish. I was just thinking. Um...what are you talking about? Is there another reason I would be here?" she asked softly, not meaning any offense. But she simply didn't understand what the woman meant. TAG!? The female werewolf hesitated as she turned her head in the direction of her voice. The smirk never perished from the Nimir-Ra’s lips as she watched blue eyes scan over her body. Her tongue pressed against her lips as she tasted the air; the scent of the female. Soft currents of fear emanated off of her which was like a drug to a lycanthrope. With heart beat racing and adrenaline pumping, fear meant food for lycanthropes. Tyra swallowed the heartbeat of the werewolf as she was strong enough to control herself. A weaker lycanthrope would have attacked instantly. Why was this one afraid? At the edge of her fear was comfort which sent a wave of mixed emotions towards the Leopard Queen’s way. Maybe it was the fact that Tyra had taken her by surprised that she spoke that frightened her, but surely the female would have noticed her scent. Right?
As the female werewolf spoke, Tyra listened. She watched in the direction in which the blue eyes pointed to and gave a quick nod. It hadn’t surprised her than the female didn’t make a wish. It was an old tradition that a few still continued. Once in a while, she had seen grandparents tell their grandchildren to flick a coin in the fountain and make a wish. Tyra didn’t know if the wishes came true, but it was a custom she still did from time to time if she had change on it. Surprisingly this night she didn’t. Tyra pulled away from her thoughts and nodded again. Thinking was better than tossing a coin in with a clear head. Tyra was curious on what the blond had been contemplating about, but it wasn’t any of her business to ask.
A head tilted as she questioned the Nimir-Ra. What did she mean?, she said silently. Did the female not understand what Tyra was talking about? Silence fell upon them as she searched the female’s eyes. To her surprise, the werewolf was honestly clueless to what she had spoken of. Maybe she was new to the lycanthropy world which would account for her scent or maybe she was playing dumb. Tyra doubted that for some reason. Mainly a gut feeling. ”Of course to be in nature. Calming to your beast isn’t it?,” she said above a whisper to make sure that those passing them didn’t hear. Cautionary measures that the Nimir-Ra took seriously. They didn’t need to be killed for their nature. ”I am sure you didn’t wonder away from your mother for no reason,” she added. The look on the Leopard Queen’s face softened slightly as hazel eyes peered into those blues to see the she-wolf that layed within the female.

This conversation was getting very uncomfortable for Lily. She didn't like talking to strangers, especially if they know what she is. She wondered where this woman grew the balls to walk up to her. ”Of course to be in nature. Calming to your beast isn’t it?” How did she know? Lily thought. She could feel her heart beat slowly rising, goosebumps up her arm and back down her spine. Was this woman trying to get something out of her? She wasn't sure if she should just play dumb and hope that the woman says never mind and walks away. But something told her that would happen, no matter how much she wanted it to. She finally decided she would just go along with it and if the woman turns out to just be crazy she would just try to run away. "Um..my beast? My beast likes the fountain just fine, thanks. I think I can handle her. I'm okay." She didn't smell human. But she also didn't smell like a werewolf or a shifter. And she couldn't be a vampire or her eyes would be a bright red or gold. She almost smelt like a cat. Like one of those old cat lady's that lives in a big house and never leaves it. But not the bad smell, it was all most like it was in her blood and not on her clothes. Lily didn't know of any other species in the area. But there could be things out there that Lily has no idea of. The woman seemed confident so Lily figured if she really did know what she was talking about, maybe she could be of some use to her. . ”I am sure you didn’t wonder away from your mother for no reason.” "Actually there is. But its not bad. I was just bored and decided to walk over here. Plus she was getting a little annoying. But I'm perfectly fine. Promise." she said with a smile. "I'm Lily Edan. And you are?" TAG!? TYRA WORD COUNT!?338 OUTFIT hereNOTES!?

The scent of fear lingered in the air like strong perfume. Her tongues slid across her lips to moisture them as well as taste the sweet aroma of adrenaline pumping through the blonde’s veins. Tyra had hit a nerve within the female, an uncomfortable one at that. It was a classic sign that she wasn’t comfortable with the beast within her nor knew much about herself and the world around her outside of the human world. Opening your eyes to the preternatural was like passing through a veil. They looked like humans, could walk and talk like humans, but were everything else but human. Some might have started their life as human, while others were never human, including herself. The blue eyed female was infected; Tyra knew that by the beast that was inside her. It made her even more curious on who she ended up with the strain of wolf lycanthropy inside of her. By the way she acted, did she understand what had happened to her? Being naïve in this community only left a person dead or living a lie which weakened the beast inside of them. It wasn’t any of the Nimir-Ra’s business to preach to the blonde about what she was, but it was her business to point some things out that might save her life in the future.
“You say you can handle her, but you taste of fear. Fear is like a drug to those who are out kind. Usually it indicates that you are prey and as much as you might not enjoy it, your beast will. I suggest you calm down. If someone comes along and not strong enough to resist the fear emitting off of you, you might end up dead. A word of advice,” she whispered as she leaned in to the female. “I am not here to hurt you, remember that,” Tyra added. Usually, the Nimir-Ra would have sent out a calming energy, but she didn’t know how the blonde would take it even though her wolf might enjoy it. “You don’t look okay and it doesn’t look like your beast is also.” The short haired female was being blunt. It made no since for the female to lie to cover her ass. Maybe she didn’t know that they could smell a lie also.
Tyra gave a nod as the blonde explained why she was at the fountain. A smile appeared on her lips as she spoke of her mother being annoying. Relatives always had the effect on a person. It was almost like a love-hate relationship with them. Tyra remembered the times her older brother, Sean, bothered and picked on her for no reason to the point of where she would cry. When he wasn’t around, she missed him and couldn’t wait until he returned home. Very fond memories, which the Leopard Queen didn’t dwell on for too much longer. She knew that with those memories would come sadness and it wasn’t the time to focus on her life in front of a stranger. ”You don’t seem fine, but I will take your word on it,” she said calmly. As she introduced herself, Tyra burned her name into her memory. ”Nice to meet you Lily. I am Tyra Collins, Nimir-Ra of the local Pard,” she stated. Usually, Tyra wouldn’t have announced the Nimir-Ra part because most people knew and it was usually only called for during formal meetings. Since Lily seemed very new, it seemed important that she knew who she was dealing with and learned something about the community around her. The Leopard Queen was pretty sure she wasn’t part of the Pack, but she wanted to humor herself.

This was the strangest conversation she has ever had. She never would of thought that when she got out of bed this morning, there would be a stranger telling her what to do. She appreciated the gesture and was sure that the lady meant well. But Lily was fully aware of her situation and had all the strength she needed for the process. It wasn't close to her three nights of torture, but that still didn't mean her wolf didn't want out. There have been times when she felt she was slipping, losing control. But her uncle was always there to save her from herself. You say you can handle her, but you taste of fear. “I am not here to hurt you, remember that,” she was right in a sense. You had to pretend to be strong to survive. Lily thought she was doing good so far, mainly just keeping her distance from humans unless it was nearly impossible to get away. For one example, work. Being a waitress was probably the worst job she could have but she needed money. Lily smiled and moved a strand of hair away from her face as she replied "Yes, and that fear is because some stranger just came up to me claiming to know what I am and how to control it. I really don't know if your from around here, but I grew up here. Well not here here, but in La Push. And, as you probably already know is wolf territory. I may not be a part of a pack but my blood is with them. My father had it and so does my uncle. I've dealt with this for a while now, thank you." she said sternly. She wasn't trying to sound as rude as she may have sounded, but she was merely stating a fact.
S he started to wonder where she did come from. Deciding that the lady already knew who she was she could not try and hide the truth. “You don’t look okay and it doesn’t look like your beast is also. You don’t seem fine, but I will take your word on it,” Lily signed and continued "I am a little tense. And I'm sure my wolf feels it too. But after my father died I've always been like this." she said as she shrugged her shoulders. ”Nice to meet you Lily. I am Tyra Collins, Nimir-Ra of the local Pard,” Lily had never hear of this before. She had read a lot of books but never came across it in her books. She boldly asked "Whats a Nimir-Ra. And is pard like a pack?" The woman looked young but experienced. Lily figured she could hopefully get a lot of important information out of her. Information on what was still a question. "I'm sorry to ask but you don't smell human but you don't smell like a shifter or vampire. What are you?"[/blockquote] TAG!? TYRA WORD COUNT!?558 OUTFIT hereNOTES!? I am really sorry for the wait. I know it's not much.

The air around them was still as Tyra abruptly cut off that tranquil energy she was sending in Lily’s direction. That energy moved like a current taking a different direction as it retracted back into the Leopard Queen’s body and sealed tightly within her soul. Teeth bit down on her tongue as she reframed from snapping at the young blonde. No one spoke to Tyra like that, especially from someone who held lower status and did not know how to control the beast that was within them. Then again, Tyra couldn’t blame Lily for her reaction, but there were ways on going about it differently. The shewolf reminded her of some of the wereleopards she had encountered over the years; ignorant, arrogant, and not in touch with themselves. Tyra also had a few who tried so hard to be human that they were in denial about what they really were. As much as Lily could throw history in her face about La Push, she did not know the first thing on what it meant to be a lycanthrope. ”It wouldn’t be that way if you actually knew how to be at one with yourself. I won’t be the last one to tell that you need work Lily,” she said in a neutral voice. Hazel eyes looked deep into those blues as a smirk rose on her face; but it wasn’t so pleasant. ”Just because it is in your blood doesn’t mean you actually know how to be one dear. If you have dealt with this for awhile, you would know the basics on what will get you killed.” Tyra was telling the truth whither Lily wanted to hear it or not. Just by the information alone, another person would have challenged her and she would have been dead.
All of the pleasantness had washed from the Nimir-Ra’s face as she shifted her weight onto the opposite leg. The shewolf had mentioned the passing of her father and Tyra knew how hard that was to deal with, especially since she had lost both of her parents at a tender age. Tyra did not know if the blonde was using that as an excuse on why she was the way she was or she was simply stating a fact. In Tyra’s eyes, the passing on a family member would have made you more careful, not tense to the point that everyone could pick it up. Tyra dismissed that thought as she went on to explain exactly what she was. ”A Nimir-Ra is a Leopard Queen and a Pard is like a Pack, but with only wereleopards. La Plush may not have been where I grew up at, but I am other species are sharing that territory. Forks is my own, but probably won’t be that way for long. You see, more than one species can share a city as long as disrespect hasn’t been shown. I am well aware of the shifters in the city and also am noticing other lycanthropes creeping out.” she said calmly, but with authority in her voice. ”It is very disrespectful to speak to a King, Queen, or leader in such a tone as you have. That simple mistake would have gotten you killed. Not every leader is nice Lily, especially to someone that is not of their kind. “ Tyra gave that as a warning for the blonde to watch her tone. She hated to hurt a stranger, but she would do what needed to be done if boundaries were crossed.
Another smirk crossed her lips as a giggle pressed forward. ”At least your senses are working,” she mumbled. The more she listened to Lily, the more she realized that what was coming out of the female’s mouth was out of ignorance. As much as she claimed she knew what she was due to it running in her blood, the less it seemed like she knew anything at all. ”I am not human and never have and never will,” she stated in a whisper to make sure no one heard her. They were taking a risk by talking about all of this in public. ”Leopards run in my blood, but being a queen is earned. I also have a magical touch to me; a charmer, but that is the other half of what I am. The world isn’t painted black and white Lily. We are predators at heart and some will feed on the weak. One day you will wake up and be petrified of what is around you and in you.” Tyra was sincere with her words. She hated to see people die due to ignorance. "I am willing to help you Lily. Help you learn more about yourself and to be a peace with in the beast inside of you. You can take or leave more offer, but remember one day you may end of dead by the hands of a fellow lycanthrope."

Lily could tell she did something wrong. The air grew still and her body grew tenser. She felt nervous, butterflies were flying around in her stomach. She had seemed to be the kind of person that demanded respect. Someone with high authority and wasn't afraid to let you know. But yet she remained calm so Lily kept herself still, motionless. ”It wouldn’t be that way if you actually knew how to be at one with yourself. I won’t be the last one to tell that you need work Lily,” The woman was right, yet again. Lily hated that. She was a complete stranger but yet she had all the right answers. For a moment she had thought that maybe her dad had secretly sent her but then again that would just be Lily's imagination running wild again. But Lily just couldn't accept herself. In her mind she was a killer. She had no control when she was no longer human and she hated that. How could anybody accept being a werewolf. If she was a shifter, sure, she would love it. But she had to get the more grotesque way. ”Just because it is in your blood doesn’t mean you actually know how to be one dear. If you have dealt with this for awhile, you would know the basics on what will get you killed.” Lily smiled, this was a very interesting conversation. "And how would you know how to be a werewolf? Have you ever felt your bones crack and break under your skin? Sliding around, shifting positions in a manner you would think the devil himself was having his way with you and after you lose the only thing that reminds you that your human you loose all control. You can't even remember what you did until it slowly but painfully comes back to you. And believe me when I tell you that the transformation back to human is even worse than the one before. If anyone is to die it won't be me, I don't go out when I'm transformed and I don't associate with anyone I don't know. I talk with no one and start nothing for myself. I have no conflict with anyone." she ranted on. She couldn't help herself. She wasn't trying to be rude. But she didn't like complete strangers, whether their right or not, to tell her how it is to be a werewolf when they are not one themselves. She didn't care if she was royalty or had control over the land. Lily only cared about herself, her family, and nature around her. Packs and Pard's meant nothing to her. They have not given her any reason to even concern herself with them. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I don't mean to disrespect you but you can't blame me for standing up for myself. Its not every day some random person comes up to me and starts lecturing me about my secret. A secret I didn't even tell you, no one told you. Dude, thats creepy." she said with a small smile and shrugged her shoulders. Taking a deep breath she calmed herself down. "Im sorry. That was rude of me. Let's start this over."
I am well aware of the shifters in the city and also am noticing other lycanthropes creeping out.” Lily was born and raised here and she had never heard of other species in the area. Vampires, werewolves, and shifters were the only three she knew about. "Creeping out? Maybe you just don't know where to look. We've been here just as long as the shifters. Were just better hiders." she said jokingly. ”It is very disrespectful to speak to a King, Queen, or leader in such a tone as you have. That simple mistake would have gotten you killed. Not every leader is nice Lily, especially to someone that is not of their kind.“ Lily understood respect. She had no problem showing it. But in her mind she hasn't given her a reason to respect her as a Nimir-Ra but she will respect her as a human being. "Like I said before, I apologize if I have offended you but you really caught me off guard. And I personally have never seen or heard of you or your species so I have not seen any reason to watch my tone. I felt attacked, I needed to defend myself. You and I are human, whether you don't want to admit it or not. If you weren't somewhat human you wouldn't look like it would you? I will respect you as a person but not as a Queen. I am not a part of that world. And I do not think that you are better than me because you have a special title." she said boldly. She knew it was a lot more than she had wanted to say but what was said was said. There was no going back. ”At least your senses are working, I am not human and never have and never will. Leopards run in my blood, but being a queen is earned. I also have a magical touch to me; a charmer, but that is the other half of what I am. The world isn’t painted black and white Lily. We are predators at heart and some will feed on the weak. One day you will wake up and be petrified of what is around you and in you.” Lily crossed her arms, her smile quickly fading. This was what Lily had explained before. She was a killer, no matter how you wanted to look at it. When she's covered with fur she would have no problem ripping their throat out. "I already have. Three nights out of every month for five years now. I've hurt a lot of people. Even killed a few, purely on accident of course. Every night I have nightmares about all those nights. I am already petrified. I know I have to live with that for the rest of my life." she said with a stern face.[/blockquote] TAG!? TYRA WORD COUNT!?1,075 OUTFIT hereNOTES!? that took a while XD
