personality: She is a very hot headed girl with a mind of her own, and if she has something to say to someone she will make it very well known. She sometimes has a head far too big for her shoulders but in the end she always has a very caring heart despite it all. She doesn’t like to deal with problems so she usually pushes them into the back of her mind and doesn’t talk to others about them. She simply likes to keep her personal life personal because it is exactly that.. Personal. She likes to live in her own little world of sensational possibilities. She is keenly in tune with the way things look, taste, sound, feel and smell because she never likes to miss out on a single moment in life. She has a strong aesthetic appreciation for art, and aspires to be an artist in some form, because she is unusually gifted at creating and composing things which will strongly affect the senses. She has a very personally strict and strong set of values, which she strives to consistently meet in her life because she is always wanting to continuously move forward. She needs to feel as if she is living her life in accordance with what she feels is right for her, and more than willing to rebel against anything which conflicts with that goal.
She is exceptionally kind, gentle and sensitive in her dealings with others. She is very interested in contributing to people's senses of well-being and happiness, and will put a great deal of effort and energy into tasks which she feels are right for both herself and the others around her that she cares about. detailed history: Aphrodite Alessandra Giana was born to a fairly wealthy family in Italy to Giovanna and Antoine Giana. The couple had her at a young age, and quickly had over the top and somewhat far fetched ideas about how she would be successful in her life. There family had always owned a winery, but there dream was to take her above and beyond that. However; after three years with there family they began to see the selfish lifestyle they were really exposing there daughter to. There family’s selfishness and the way they looked down upon others was quite unsettling to them, and they began to talk about there many other wishes for her. They began to talk more and more, and soon they decided that what she needed was a place away from there own family. She needed to be in an environment where equality and hard work would truly be valued. In doing so, the young couple decided that they would open there own winery in the states. It didn’t take long for them to discover the name Forks, a small town in Washington in the United states. The couple said there many goodbyes. Some of the good bye were not the greatest (especially amoung both sets of parents). Despite the lack of support they did request that they did visit as soon as they could. Gio and Tony both accepted and agreed.
They made a good living with there winery in Port Angeles. It was not nearly the lifestyle they were accustomed to, but it was really what they had always wanted. Aphrodite originally attended school there, but freshman year transferred to Fork’s high school. She loved the atmosphere of the small school. There was a lot less hustle and bustle but with any small school came big drama. She certainly did her best to keep out of all the problems people occasionally did try to start with her. She was pretty outspoken when the time came, so to argue with her usually ended in a failure. One very useful gift was her creative way with words. She would always stick up for people at the school, which usually resulted in her getting detentions or going as far as getting out of school suspensions that resulted in a large lecture from both her parents. However; she was always the smooth talker. She could pretty much wriggle her way out of any situation or trouble she ever got herself in thankfully.
She was always a very gifted girl with art and music. Not only was she very artistic, but she caught onto things very well. She could mimic quite well whether it was looking at a picture and painting it from memory or learning a new instrument or song. This made learning a lot easier when she was growing up. She loved art all through her life. Art and music were really her two biggest outlets, and they helped her overcome a lot of the tension and such that came with her family. Her famliy was very stressful at times, because of there expectations. She couldn't take it most of the time, but with music and art it really help her vent out all her pent up anger and frustrations with her parents anger and complaining about there family in Italy. But it wasn't only them.. whenever she visited in Italy her family over there was very pushy and arrogent. it truely was a tension filled situation between all of them. It was sometimes even taken out on here by her grandparents and her parents that niether one would ever see eye to eye on the others actions and social statuses.
But even in such a tension, she never knew that her world could become more broken.. until now. She again visited for the St. Marcus Day festival in Italy. it was fourty five minutes away and her whole family wanted to attend. However; when they attended, they didnt expect what happened. They took a tour through the many caverns and buildings in the area enjoying the new surroundings. The man that directed them around put his attention to Aphrodite asking her many questions, acting quite strange. She brushed it off a lot, and the two discussed the archiecture and she expressed her love for such art. He asked her if she would like to meet the 'director' of the building. She accepted.. However would pay deeply. How? She will only have to find out. She to this day has no idea what happened to her family and no idea who her captures are.
