Madison has a older brother named Logan, she used to be extremely close to her brother but then high school hit and she went boy crazy. The two had a little blow out over her boyfriend at the time who Logan really disliked, saying he was a loser and Maddie shouldn't waste her time with him.
Soon after their fight Logan joined the Marines and went overseas. A few months later Maddie and her family got a letter telling them that Logan died when their base had been attacked... there were no survivors.
The truth was, a vampire attacked the base and cleaned up after himself by blowing the place up. Logan was the only man turned, he stayed with that vampire for a short time but soon moved on.
He has no idea that his sister had a baby and he still hasn't gone to see any of the family yet even though it has been a little over two years.
