She was embarrassed to the tee. But she was grateful he didn't blow up on her like any other vampire might of. She figured within 2,000 years of living he had learned self-control. "It's okay, Autumn. Don't worry." his voice trailed off as she scooted out of her seat and next to him in the booth. Frantically she wiped off his hands, moving up to his arms and chest, and then finally to his face. His skin was perfect and looked soft like a baby's, but when her fingertips brushed up against his cheek it was cold and hard like porcelain. "Uh, thanks," he muttered as he cleared his throat. Was she making him nervous or something? She wasn't aware she was doing anything to make him stare at her with hungry eyes, but then again she also didn't notice her boobs were slightly hanging out of her shirt. "That was so rude of me. I'm sorry. You just caught me by surprise. I didn't mean to laugh...when you said....it's just not every day I talk to a vampire about..um...personal stuff." she said as her soulful eyes looked up at him, a small smile still remained on her face.

Alec wasn't feeling uncomfortable, not at all, but he was contemplating weather or not to kiss Autumn. He laughed at her stutter, it was cute. He started leaning, only slightly, before meeting his lips with hers. It felt different, in a good way. More like she was the one, not Olivia, Felicity, or Annie.

And yet again he had taken her by surprise. His soft, but cold lips touched hers and in an instant her body tempature dropped. She was paralyzed by his kiss, she didn't know if it was because of him or the fact she was shocked she was locking lips with a vampire. It was one thing to throw a couple of compliments and batting eyes but this, she didn't know how to react other than sit there for a moment to let her brain process everything, but without thinking she puckered her lips and returned the kiss. When she could finally regain control over her own body she pulled away and slightly shook her head. Her eyes were wide with surprise and at first she was speechless. "Um....I." was all she could muster up. Autumn wasn't ready for this. She had trouble dealing with the 'dating' aspect of her life, not to mention she had just met him in the alley behind the cafe and she wasn't entirely sure he could be trusted. She already had a hard enough time opening up to people. But that didn't mean she secretly enjoyed it herself too.

Alec sighed. "I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. Damn teenage hormones." he hated himself right now. "Um, I really am sorry. I'm just... gonna go... now." he sighed and got up from the table and walked out the door. "GOD!" he yelled and started walking the way he came, not bothering to look behind to see if Autumn followed. He was just so damn pissed at himself.

[/i] Alec said as he moved to get up, making her scoot out so he could leave. Even though she was paralyzed she still stood up, letting him out of the booth and watched him hurry towards the door. For a moment she thought to speak out for him, but by then he was already out the door and down the street. "Damn it.." she muttered to herself. She was stupid and she knew it. What was really stopping her from living like a normal 21 year old? Her job, thats what. Even if he wasn't a part of her modern world, she still found it hard to trust him with the things that mattered most to her. Her heart being one of them. But without thinking she followed him out the door, and without knowing it leaving her bag under the table. "GOD!" she heard from around the corner as she frantically searched for him. Thankfully he hadn't ventured far and was heading back towards the place they had met earlier. Running up to him she didn't bother being quiet, he would of heard her anyways. She placed her hand on his shoulder, letting him know she had indeed followed him. Autumn may not be able to break out of her shell quite yet, but that didn't mean she didn't want to try. "Sorry. But I don't think he'll listen to you. Being damned and all." she joked, laughing at her own witty comment.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Alec had indeed heard Autumn behind him, but he wasn't like that mind-reading Cullen. Edmund? Edwardo? Eh, who cares. Alec had chosen not to remember his name, and he still doesn't. It wasn't very important, just another vampire who wanted to die. They'd rather be damned than live as a vampire, and he could see why. It sucked. They were monsters. Most people think they shouldn't exist, and they could only want to tell them so they would have to lie. It was hard to keep this frightening secret. So many tell, and then the Volturi have to find the human and kill it before it spreads to the rest of the world.
He heard Autumn closer behind him. Was he following her? It wasn't until he felt a warm hand on his shoulder. He went wide-eyed for half-a-second, paused, and turned around to face the beauty. She had on a sly smile, as if the recent past never happened. Her face was flushed from the cold, cheeks rosy red, nose looking exactly like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, but not glowing. Her breath came out in little clouds. A few strands of hair fell from behind her ear and in front of her eyes. Her fingertips were slightly reddened, as well.
"Sorry. But I don't think He'll listen to you. Being damned and all." Autumn laughed at her own joke. Alec had to admit. It did make him smile. He let out a huff.
"You-you aren't mad at me?" he questioned, his eyebrows furrowing together on his forehead, changing his facial expression all together. He shoved his hands in his pocket and thought about why she was laughing, and smiling, when he'd just invaded her personal privacy five minutes ago.

"You-you aren't mad at me?"
[/i] she grinned and shook her head, moving her hand from his shoulder and back into her coat pocket. "No, how can I be? It was just a kiss. It's not like you asked me to marry you." she teased, trying to make him feel better about the situation. To her surprise she was actually handling this better then she had thought she would. "Don't worry about it." she said with a slight huff as she pulled out her hand for a second to wave it and slid it back into her pocket. She never would of thought she would be this nice to a vampire before, especially a Volturi but Autumn wasn't one to jump to conclusions, and if she did it was merely out of self defense. Hoping she wasn't making a mistake by giving him a second chance she figured she would just watch him for now, reading him like he apparently was doing to her earlier. But then the light bulb in her head went off when she finally remembered something extremely important. Her eyes grew wide and she let out a gasp. "Shit. I left my bag at the cafe." she said before she turned around and ran down the alleyway, around the corner and into the cafe. Making her way towards their booth it looked as if it had already been cleaned off along with underneath it too. "Mother fucker."[/b] she growled as she kicked the table, making it jump a few inches off the floor. People around her stared at her, whispering amongst each other but she just gave them glares and ignored their comments. Her bag was missing and now she was royally screwed. Her heart sank in her chest and at this moment she would of started crying if the anger she held in wasn't overpowering her depression. Autumn mentally beat herself up once again and now felt more foolish then ever. She would of never lost it if she wasn't side tracked or distracted. Now because of her silly little mistake she was out of a shit load of money and had no way of getting it back. There was a reason Autumn didn't have a social life and this was just a reminder to her as to why.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
