personality: Though he may seem at times to be a strange and elusive boy, he is not all that different from the other shapshifters. There is nothing he wouldn't do for a friend, if he had one, and he can be brave and fiercely loyal when protecting the things he truly cares about. Cal is one he considers to be a true friend and a loyal companion, the small kitten is never too far from him when he needs someone to talk to and is a loyal and obedient cat for only his master, he can be a little trouble for others who she doesn't know though. Though Vinny may be quiet and seemingly hostile toward others he is usually a polite and friendly young man when approached, but it would take extraordinary circumstances for him to approach another before they have approached him.

When faced with a challenge Vinny is the one who can be expected to come up with the most logical solution, it is simply the way his mind words. He is inclined to think quickly and his sharp witt can be handy when it comes to a battle of minds, however his physical strength can often let him down and encourages him to stay out of fights. However this of course is not such a problem in the superficial world where he can easily shift into a panther. He may seem at times not to care, to simply ignore those around him, but he is the kind of man that sits at the back of the classroom, doodling in the corner of his parchment looking as though he wouldn't even know what day it was, but in his mind he already has the answers and simply doesn't care about giving them.

detailed history: When Vinny was a young boy, he was just like every other average Joe. Not beautiful, nor ugly. Not intelligent, nor dumb. Not athletic, nor lazy. Just, average. Years passed. He slowly began to notice some things changing, unlike most of his classmates. They began to develop chests(for the ladies) and biceps(for the men), where as Vinny developed agility, strength, keen eyesight. However, to anyone who did not know him, he still seemed like a young boy. Small, fragile, and very immature looking compared to his classmates.

One year, Vinny started a strange obsession with make believe stuff, and wild animals. He began to believe in vampires. He began to love the fierce animal, panther. One day, he was running in the woods, as he loves to do, he remembered a fight he had with some guys who disliked him very much. His body convulsed into a spasm, and before he knew it, his clothes were ripping off, and he was growing in size. He was changing. For the first time.

Freaked out, he began attempting to run away from the large panther shadow that followed him everywhere. Many days passed. News alerts went up for a missing child. Police and their canine units began scouring the woods. His woods. Enraged, his anger took over. Stalking a canine, he licked his lips and pounced, scaring away all the police officers, detectives, and canine units. Once his anger subdued, he transformed back into his human self.

After a few years of this Vinny kept himself secluded from the real world only venturing to towns to eat ever once in a while. It wasn't until a year ago that he was out at sea when a giant storm had hit their ship. He had seen countless people thrown overboard and yet he and a few other's were safe. They had made it to a lifeboat and ridden it out. A few weeks later the first of the eight men and women died. It was like that every two weeks. one of them always died. Till at last Vinny was the last one.

Dehydrated, hungry, and dazed Vinny was suffering so many things at once. He had to even drink his own Urine to survive, sadly another storm came that threw him overboard and forced him to the sea. he lost consciousness, but luckily had arrived on the shores of La Push know he is still out cold.

The solemn tones of an old cathedral clock have announced midnight--the air is thick and heavy--a strange, death like stillness pervades all nature. Like the ominous calm which precedes some more than usually terrific outbreak of the elements, they seem to have paused even in their ordinary fluctuations, to gather a terrific strength for the great effort. A faint peal of thunder now comes from far off. Like a signal gun for the battle of the winds to begin, it appeared to awaken them from their lethargy, and one awful, warring hurricane swept over a whole city, producing more devastation in the four or five minutes it lasted, than would a half century of ordinary phenomena.

It was as if some giant had blown upon some toy town, and scattered many of the buildings before the hot blast of his terrific breath; for as suddenly as that blast of wind had come did it cease, and all was as still and calm as before.

Sleepers awakened, and thought that what they had heard must be the confused chimera of a dream. They trembled and turned to sleep again.

All is still--still as the very grave. Not a sound breaks the magic of repose. What is that--a strange, pattering noise, as of a million of fairy feet? It is hail--yes, a hail-storm has burst over the city. Leaves are dashed from the trees, mingled with small boughs; windows that lie most opposed to the direct fury of the pelting particles of ice are broken, and the rapt repose that before was so remarkable in its intensity, is exchanged for a noise which, in its accumulation, drowns every cry of surprise or consternation which here and there arose from persons who found their houses invaded by the storm.

Now and then, too, there would come a sudden gust of wind that in its strength, as it blew laterally, would, for a moment, hold millions of the hailstones suspended in mid air, but it was only to dash them with redoubled force in some new direction, where more mischief was to be done.
Oh, how the storm raged! Hail--rain--wind. It was, in very truth, an awful night.

There is an antique chamber in the ancient and locked up castle. Curious and quaint carvings adorn the walls, and the large chimney-piece is a curiosity of itself. The ceiling is low, and a large bay window, from roof to floor, looks to the west. The window is latticed, and filled with curiously painted glass and rich stained pieces, which send in a strange, yet beautiful light, when sun or moon shines into the apartment. There is but one portrait in that room, although the walls seem panelled for the express purpose of containing a series of pictures. That portrait is of a young man, with a pale face, a stately brow, and a strange expression about the eyes, which no one cared to look on twice.

There is a stately bed in that chamber, of carved walnut-wood is it made, rich in design and elaborate in execution; one of those works of art which owe their existence to the Elizabethan era. It is hung with heavy silken and damask furnishing; nodding feathers are at its corners--covered with dust are they, and they lend a funereal aspect to the room. The floor is of polished oak.

As one would look around the lightly tacked room one would only see memories of a past life. But this was no past life for this was the room of David Volturi, one of the newest and highest ranked vampires in the Volturi coven. David himself had just now entered his ancient room and sighed lightly his head buzzing with the new found news of himself having to go to Forks, Washington and to give the Cullens a letter from Marcus; one of the three heads of the Volturi.

"This...is nuts...why do I have to go at this point...and alone?" The old vamire asked himself as he sat down on his bed. He sighed lightly and then looked toward the door sensing someone near it.
