Brooke finished dressing, part of her wanted to pro-long her husbands leaving and the other part of her knew that she couldn't hold him up or his punishment might be more severe. Her clothes sat in her bags in the coner of the room, there was no way she was staying in the apartment without her husband so she planned on leaving just after he did actually. With the light fix of her hair she walked out of the bedroom and into the living room. She saw him at the piano stool and walked over to him and sat beside him silently. She set her head on his shoulder and sighed lightly. "I love you..." she muttered, "Please retun to me..." she said as she picked her head up off his shoulder to look at him. She slipped something into his hand, I white gold chain with her name written into it. "And if you don't return, don't forget me..." she kissed him lightly. "I love you..." He smiled as he heard that coming so sweetly to him. She did love him. He knew it was true. She really did love him. He still found that hard to believe some times. But he loved so much to hear her say that to him. "Please return to me..." "And if you don't return, don't forget me..." "Never...I would never forget you. I just hope you don't forget me..." He said softly to her as she then leaned in closer and closer to where his back his the keys on the piano and made them sound out slightly. But that did not make him jump at all as his lips were occupied with hers...He placed his fingers on her cheek one last time as well...He kissed her so passionately as he closed his eyes slightly and then opened them back up....
His chest pumped up and down. She always knew how to turn him on....That was no lie...."I gotta go..." He said as he pulled away from her and then with out hesitation he pulled himself off the piano..."Good bye Mrs. Cullen." And without looking back at her he opened the front door. He didn't want to look her in the eyes...He was on the verge of breaking as it was. So he just left her all together. He knew she loved him and she knew he loved her...That's all they needed to get through this...
A few blocks away.....
Edward walked down the side walk at night...And looked at the ankle bracelet Brooke gave him to remember her by...He then sensed it....Another vampire...He looked up and saw the familiar dark cloak....As Edward walked closer to the vampire he got an uneasy feeling. He didn't say any thing to this vampire at first. He figured them being a guard he would not have a lot to say. Edward placed the ankle bracelet back in his pocket. He didn't even have any means of luggage...What was the point...? Edward just remained there quietly...As he waited for some thing to be said....He was scared no doubt. But Edward was doing everything he was instructed to do....So he would be safe for now any way....

Aro never made a habit of leaving Italy unless he has some reason to do so, weather that be to visit other locations or to meet others vampires that had gifts he could use within the guard. However, this time Jane had given him a great idea, the golden boy known as Edward was fighting with himself afraid he could break the promise he made not to drink human blood or to kill humans.
It was true Aro promised not to push Edward into taking a human life but he did not say his right hand Jane could not bring him over to the true side of the vampire way of life this was the reason he had summoned Edward to the Fortress im Alaska called Amaurot.
However, Amaurot was something special, unlike the castle in Italy this fortress guarded by humans, who believe if they serve the Volturi, they will become vampires.
However, as anyone knows that is a lie Aro told him or her to keep them happy, most of them would be used for food and then their bodies cast out onto the icy floor never to be seen again. Amaurot was the Volturi leader’s hidden lair they would often come here to talk about matters that are private between Aro, Marcus.calius.
Granted the fortress was cold but the throne room was always heated so it felt just like home to the leaders and the guards that came with them. For this moment, the only people that would be here would be Edward Jane and Aro, because they had a plan that involved him and if they were able to fulfil plan Edward would never be the same vampire again. Aro arrived in the throne room and awaited the arrival of Jane and Edward.

It didn't take long to get to the ship that was taking him to Alaska. Edward had been greeted by two mindless Volturi Guards that grabbed him and pushed on board. Edward was not in the same mood now cause he's been pushed around to much right now. He knew though that he was going to be treated like a prisoner from her on out. Edward looked down and was pushed again into the hall way of the holding cell...That was when he snapped! He turned around and smacked a guard hard in the mouth! And that punch was so hard it slammed the guard in to the wall! Making a slight dent in it. They picked a wrong day to pick on Edward Cullen. Then as Edward started to fight the guards he grabbed one by the neck and ripped the head off killing the Volturi guard very quickly! Which was some thing Edward has never really done before. But, Edward was tired of the Volturi he was asking for his own death...But he knew Aro would not allow that to happen...When Edward made his move on the second guard more Volturi members had to grab him by his arms and put him in a bind! But one was trying to kill him, And that was when a guard called out, "He's needed alive! Don't kill him!" The Vol. Member shouted...And the guards let loose of Edward then...And slammed him against the wall and shackled him up...
Edward was having his face smashed in the wall the minute the guards gained control over him...As one guard pressed his head in the back of Edward's head...Finally after grunting and groaning in pain, Edward was thrown in a small cell..."Get rest Cullen....You won't get it after Aro is through with you!" Edward was thrown in so hard he hit the wall hard. And he could not do much but lay there on the floor....As he was shackled up from his ankles to his arms...He curled up in to a ball as he just tried to keep Brooke's face in his mind....It was going to be long ride and Edward was prepared for it. He was so angry though that he smashed his feet in the wall at the same time...He looked up at the dark ceiling...As his eyes grew heavy...He wanted to sleep so badly...He couldn't...The guards hurt him severely badly that he wanted to sleep...He had everything taken from him the minute he was in custody. Except his wedding ring.....He was scared that too would be taken from him...
The long boat ride was indeed long! But finally it docked at Alaska....And the guards opened the cell door after so many damned hours....Edward's eyes were still heavy...As they yanked him off the cold floor he was laying on...."You're time Cullen...Welcome to Alaska...." After that said, they shuttled him to a place Edward was not known of....He was seeing this castle for the very first time...It was indeed a huge castle....The Volturi were good at keeping secrets....Not even offered a jacket, Edward was shoved off the shuttle bus and led to the castle by plenty of guards that made sure he did not repeat what he had done on the ship...It was hard to walk in shackles as he was pushed on the snow kicked up on his shoes....He just looked up at the castle as though awe struck. He in his mind hated this place already....He could smell death all around it. It was not your vacation home that was certain...This was some thing even Edward knew he was not going to be able to get out of...Fear and anger clouded his mind it was plainly written all over his face.
Finally after walking in the snow and feeling the coldness hit him like a ton of bricks. As he was finally led inside the building....And led through the hall ways....Edward noticed some humans...And just sighed as he had a feeling what they were here for....Aro was indeed a sick person....Edward was soon led in to the throne room....And there he saw Aro...Awaiting on him....Edward remained silent. As he too did not look his best...Aro on the other hands looked just fine...."He killed a guard on the ship master...." One of the guards informed Aro of that as Edward looked down...The anger was boiling in his mind....He was already upset...But he knew Aro could make him feel ten times worse if he wanted to....As Edward stood there ready for what ever punishment that was going to be inflicted on him....

The ship that was supposed to bring Edward to him would appear to be running late this was never a good thing as Aro is not the kind who should be kept waiting. Aro felt the presence of the second Young woman who he cared for but would never admit the fact openly but Renata was more than just a Guard, she was Aro’s bodyguard, which meant she was always with him no matter where he was that was the reason Renata was on the same level as Jane was in that respect. Being in Aro eyes his wife Serah along with Jane, Renata where the three women he cared for and he has shown what he feels to them all with his touch. However, having Renata along with him for this Trip was prefect, being the only vampire besides himself and Edward who would be arriving very shortly.
A messenger enters the throne room bows to Aro and speaks saying. “My Lord the ship carrying Edward Cullen has arrived at the south docks, he is being brought to the throne room as we speak.” Aro nodded to the guard, as he could smell The Cullen’s golden boy from the other end of the castle. He lightly places is hand on Renata’s hand and allows her to see how much she means to him and the Volturi before removing his hand and watching as the scent grew stronger. Edward was indeed within the castle grounds and was very close to the throne room so much so Aro could hear the banging of the chains, they had Edward chained up like a stray dog the way it should be.
“He killed a guard on the ship master before we arrived” the ships master spoke Edward at this time was already standing before Aro and Renata. Aro shot a look over to Edward which if he could not tell he was rather pissed with him. “Well Captain that does not matter you have done what you where ordered. Aro throws a small bag to the captain, which had a small amount of money within it was payment for being such a loyal human to the Volturi. After the captain had received bag of money in his hands, Aro looks to him and speaks once again. “You have proven to me that you are loyal and trustworthy, and therefore I will grant you a boon you may ask one favour from me and I will grant it i will summon you again when I am done here for now you are dismissed.
“Yes Master” the captain spoke as he made his way out of the throne room Aro then turns back to Edward and speaks saying. “Why must you be such a pest can’t you just be a good little boy and fall in to line like the rest of my servants, but suppose at least you didn’t fight the guards I sent to pick you up, so Cullen, how do you like my hidden domain among the mountains |

No, Edward did not look like he would normally look. He looked really messed up. And right now, in his own mind, Edward was messed up. Edward kept quiet as he heard the guard speak about him to Aro. There was another presence in the room. Edward glanced at the girl. That must've been Renata. Aro's personal guard. Which was why she was right by his side. It was like Aro to pick beautiful women as his personal guards. Edward remained silent until the guard was given a bag of some thing Aro threw at him. Edward was not in the best terms to hold a conversation. His eyes were already blood shot red cause lack of blood. “He killed a guard on the ship master before we arrived” Edward smiled at what was said. That was indeed a Volturi Guard that deserved to die. They all did. But that was one guard out of the way. The way of Edward's thinking was indeed different.
“Why must you be such a pest can’t you just be a good little boy and fall in to line like the rest of my servants, but suppose at least you didn’t fight the guards I sent to pick you up, so Cullen, how do you like my hidden domain among the mountains?”
Edward simply scoffed low not even looking at Aro. He wanted to get this over with. As he looked up at Aro with his burning red eyes...He was already hungry. It's been a while since he had a last meal...And Aro would know that. They all would know that normally, Cullen eyes were indeed golden brown most of the time. Edward read Renata's mind and just scoffed...."I don't need pity from any one..."He knew he was going to gt punched for that.... He said snappy at Renata...As if Edward cared any more about any thing. The treatment coming here was any thing but pleasant. And Edward would indeed kill Renata next if he was given the opportunity..."I love you...." Was what came in his mind. All he could think about was why he was here...Bella...
Bella Swan. He thought about the way she said that. If all was grand he would still be right there with Bella. He could tell Bella still loved him. Just by the way she acted. But then there was Brooke. His wife. She did deserve some one better than him...Because he was just not meant to have who or what he wanted. "Please....Just get it over with...With what ever you have planned...." He pleaded with Aro. But he knew that was not gonna happen. Edward knew Aro always had some thing special planned and that was what was scary....

Master Aro's touch bought a smile to her marble face. He meant the world to her and he knew this with one simple touch. Renata has an unbreakable bond with her Master Aro which anyone can senses when they look into her eyes. Renata didn’t flinch or care much for Edward Cullen’s childish outburst. She continued to stand there next to her Master Aro’s side like the good little girl she was. Day after day after day, without a word of complaint as she trailed him, serving the very special and exalted position of personal guard. Just a pedestal higher than those that were merely collected. She was just collected and used. Such a simple gift it was, too. Those that approached merely turned away...acted upon by her own need for self preservation. That in itself was simple. Anyone that would wish to harm her master...why would they just stop at him when she was standing right there as well. It was almost like a wish Just walk away...please just walk away. No bloodshed. No lives lost. Except when they were. Because it was never just her in the room. Shadows didn't travel alone. They traveled in packs, grasping at the threads of their master. The Cullen boy can yell at her all he wanted, but if he so much as step out of line with her master Aro…Well, you get the picture here. Don’t mess with Aro and you won’t have any problems.
However, she didn't like the fact Edward can willingly read her mind. She was going to have to extra careful around him. “Maybe you should get your senses together a bit, then maybe you get out here alive. Now, I do enjoy my privacy, stay out of my mind…” she commented within her head, hardly any emotion in her voice. Passive, not ordering him, not reprimanding Edward. She just distracted him away from her mind. Only one man was allow inside her head and that’s was her master Aro. Renata watched with interest as the drama unfolded before her crimson eyes. “Why must you be such a pest can’t you just be a good little boy and fall in to line like the rest of my servants, but suppose at least you didn’t fight the guards I sent to pick you up, so Cullen, how do you like my hidden domain among the mountains?”Compared to the actions the Cullen boy had committed Renata still did not believe Aro's words to be harsh enough. Never in her time with the Volturi had Renata encounted such a troublesome creature in such a small amount of time, but it seemed the Cullen boy was destined to create uproar within the once peaceful Coven after all. |

Aro smiled as he saw the look on Edwards’s face he always knew when he summoned it was never for the greater good, but Aro had called him here to feed on human blood. When he takes the first bite, he will be truly part of the Volturi and by now, he would be far too weak to fight it. Aro smiled at Edward and Renata the castle at this point was below freezing, but Aro liked the cold for some reason it was linked to his past and the castle in Italy was kept warm due to is a hub for vampires to use daily but this place was only for the Elite of the Elite. “Well Edward you know why you are here is time for you to feed like the rest of us. This time you will feed on human, blood and I know you want it I can see it in your eyes.” Aro saw a lot more then that within his eyes but he would have Edward feed today even if they had to stay there all year and Aro would quite happy to do so.
“Bring in the human, and put her in front of dear Edward is time him to embrace who and what he truly is.”Today Aro hoped Edward would take the first step into becoming a full fledged member of the Volturi, and in doing so might earn the respect of the fellow guards he now calls brothers and sisters. If he did not then Aro might have to use the to girls he loves to make him do as he is told. |

Now, I do enjoy my privacy, stay out of my mind…” Edward simply gave a little evil like looking grin at the girl....As she ordered him to do some thing that she knew was pointless to give an order for. When he was plainly well known as the mind reader. You could not just order that to stop. He didn't want to have a little girl ordering him around much either. But, he did as he was told by her only because Aro was there....As he shut his mind off of hers then and sighed.
“Well Edward you know why you are here is time for you to feed like the rest of us. This time you will feed on human, blood and I know you want it I can see it in your eyes.”
Edward looked up at Aro with black eyes...That was some thing he could no longer hide from any one. Aro knew he was thirsty and starving. Aro also knew that Edward was not going to break this easily with him. But then Edward just winced as Aro said that he would feed like the rest of them....no...Was he insane? Yes of course Aro was insane to force Edward Cullen into some thing like this. But, now even Edward was wanting to take back what he said to Aro about getting his punishment over with...

"No....I'm not a monster....." When they brought in the girl he was loosing his self control. They sat her right in front of him. He could see her fear in her bright blue eyes...Black eyes glared down at the girl. He smelled her blood beneath her tanned skin. This was indeed tempting. But all Edward could think of was Carlisle for some reason. That was why he had not attacked just yet. Though, Aro knew his one weakness. And the guards made sure Edward had no source of blood on the trip over here....This was the plan all along.....
"I'D RATHER DIE! THAN DO AS YOU WISH OF ME!! YOU'RE NOTHING TO ME!" He said suddenly in a fist of anger! He was not the same Edward....Then he looked at the girl as she was trembling and tears were falling....She was scared of him...Edward hated to see that!
