roleplay sample:[ The sound of footsteps could be heard that echoing through the door of Alex’s Aunt Angelina’s house.
Those footsteps where coming from Alex, as he was sneaking out of the house. This act of stealth and covertness was brought on by the attempt to watch a late night showing of Dawn of the Dead on a school night. Alex Slowly opened screen door the screws and rods in the frame creaking as if they were small alarms trying to alert his aunt. Making it outside after carefully shutting the door, he stepped on to grass. Alex’s face was met by a whip of the cool night air lashing across his face. Nothing could stop him from seeing the movie. The porch light came to life emitting a white light that froze Alex in his tracks. “God what now” he said as he slowly turned around to see his Aunt standing in her robe.
“Where do you think you are going this late on a school night?” Angelina asked him with an inquisitive tone, as if she had just caught a criminal. Alex knew well he was caught but he needed to think of something that seemed logical. His aunt was far too smart to out smarted. “I was going for a little midnight run” Alex said letting the words roll right off of his tongue, and not missing a beat. Alex’s aunt let out a laugh throwing her head back. “Come on sweetie that’s the best that you got?” She asked retorting back to him with arms now folded across her chest. Alex dug his hands in to his pocket’s putting his head down. “Yeah that’s all that I got” he said letting out a small huff. Feeling helpless and defeated he began to walk back up to the porch. “Go on go to the movie” Angelina said, not giving Alex any other option to work with. “Wait... What?” Alex asked in disbelief shaking his head as his bangs fell over his eyes. “ Go on I saw the commercial they were advertising before I went to bed, I knew that zombie stuff was up your alley so I knew would be trying to go” His aunt explained to him giving him a free pass to go and be a teenager. Alex was overwhelmed with joy that he darted on to the stoop giving his aunt a hug. “Thank you Aunt Ang” Alex said with excitement in his voice.
He released from the hug and darted off down the road. In the fall of night and the wind Alex walked down the road keeping a cautious eye out for cars and animals. His eyes scanned the clearings and the trees for any signs of trouble. Being late in to the night he didn’t want to get hurt or trouble to start.
He turned the corner of the street to see what appeared to be a boy and a girl making out against a building. Alex paid no mind only hearing what he perceived to be slight moans of pleasure coming from the girl. ‘They need to get a room’ he thought to himself, as he continued on his journey to the midnight showing. Looking back to check out the young couple that was expressing their love for one another in public. Alex noticed that the male had disappeared and the girl seemed to be slumped over against the wall. He knew that something wasn’t right had the girl just beaten up by that male or possibly even something worse. He jogged over to her as quickly as he could to check on her.
Her body was warm to the touch but her interactions were lifeless. “Ma is are you ok?” He asked getting no response. He proceeded lifted her head to see her eyes rolled in to the back. Alex’s eyes quickly focused on to the trail of crimson that was seeping down her neck. “What the hell?” He said aloud as he looked around for someone to call an ambulance. Although his efforts were good it was too late. The young women had already passed on her body becoming cold and her skin beginning to lose color. Alex was determined to figure out had just happened. The only problem was he had no idea where to even start.
